Just been watching the youtube's of Floyd hitting the media circuit the other week. Every interview it's the same thing: Points out that PAC has lost before and that he/Floyd won the pay perview numbers. He's a child in a man's body. I wish that just one of these interviewer's could explain to Floyd that '0''s are not everything. If they were Joe Calzaghe would be an ATG. Ray Robinson had many losses, yet nobody thinks Floyd is better than Ray Robinson (except Roger). Ricky Hatton has more earning potential than Floyd...who cares? Can't he come up with anything better than this?
It's a good reason to keep people watching in hope of seeing him lose that 0, that's what the public feeds on whether you like it or not and obviously it got your attention too so it's working as intended.
Perhaps you are right in a general sense. However I would be tuning into Floyds fights whether he was saying this or not. The '0' is meaningless to me. As are his earnigs.
Can't he (PBF) come up with anything better than this?[/quote] No he cannot, coz that is all he's got..talking crap
It means a lot to others though and that's how it always was, people like to see pretty records and tune in to see if that could change. Though with Mayweather's already announced future plans(5 fights) there is a very good chance for that to change and obviously people are showing interest already whether negative or positive.
Listening to him talk, though, part of me thinks this is not just hyping, it smacks of an insecure man trying to protect his self image. 'I don't fight for bragging rights I fight for cheques' <-- this is not hyping, anyone who hears this will be put OFF a fight. He simply resorts to this sort of insolence when somebody exposes the illogic of his claim that he still P4P. It's like a coping mechanism for his ego. Constantly trying to divert attention from the weaknesses in his resume with garbage about his 0 and bank account. (this is no hating either search my posts I hug floyd nuts all the time)
Even if it's hating you're entitled to your opinion and at least you send your message maturely unlike the many ******s here. Well I don't really see it the way you do I guess, what he says always gains people's attention which means he IS heard and when he has that ability to send his message to people that support and hate him then he's doing the job right. It's all part of making money and self promotion, some do it the nice way and some the bad way, there must always be "bad" and "good" to sell a fight and Mayweather always played "bad" best. Just take a look at the 24/7s after his retirement, Calzaghe/Jones, Pacquiao/DLH and Pacquiao/Hatton. They were PATHETIC compared to the first two and for obvious reasons. It's all a part of entertainment and if you can entertain and add some drama you always guarantee more fans/haters and both pay the same amount to view your fight so it's all going as planned.
I agree with Scar, Mayweather likes to play the bad guy. He has said it many times. How do most be feel about the bad guy.....they usually don't like him, and they won't him to lose right. It's the same way.
You're one of the buffoons that believes in an ODLH/Pac conspiracy. Who cares? You've got not credibility!

*****, I will defend my opinions anywhere, anytime - those ones and these ones. If you've got something to say say it. Unlike you I have the ability to argue rationally in favour of what I think, and I'm not influenced by majority opinion. You on the other hand can only argue in the language of smile faces and and insults.
I defended it in the other thread, you didnt have the brains to criticize it there and you still don't here. Like I said if you've got something to say about it say it, so far all you've offered is insults.
