Johnson is an entertaining talker. I would love to see him take care of Ruiz the way he took care of the last guy he fought.
This is probably the most UNWANTED fight of all time. Noone gives a **** about the WBA belt anymore. It's a meaningless waste of space.

:good How can they even consider anyone else, with Vitali out there, wanting Valuev in the worst way? This is a chance to make a big fight, and also, a unification fight with VK, but team Valuev and the WBA goofs will stage another lame borefest with Ruiz, or Owen Beck or someone like that.

Actually ... Holyfield would fight either of Valuev or Chag and so would Ruiz. Having the 4 of these fighters in any combination eliminate down to one ... like how Povetkin earned his shot, might be the way to go. Then the winner tries to unify. It could be sold like this anyway, even if it's not right really.
I love it. On OTG, Ruiz blamed his holding on his trainer!! :rofl And NOW he apologizes for it, YEARS after ripping off fans and his opponents!! atsch And he has the nerve to go after UFC fighters for their excessive holding. WTF! Ruiz does what they do, only standing up!!!
He's an entertaining guy. He calls out anybody and everybody, anytime, anywhere, any place whether it's convenient or not. He's a great talker and a fearless guy. I think he'd beat Ruiz. It'll be tough because Ruiz will be content to tie up and use his 'experience' and every trick in the book to make Johnson look bad. But he's got a world-class jab and I think he can keep him under wraps working off his main weapon there. I said yesterday in the chat, and having written an article about it, that Evander Holyfield deserves a shot at Valuev far more. Therefore I'd like to see Chagaev stripped - I think he should retire - and Holyfield given another crack at the WBA title against Valuev. With Ruiz v Johnson for the interim title, with the winners to fight each other.
