Dawson is clearly better than Berto IMO.

The scary part is Andre's the one who kept initiating the clinches. When Berto stayed at range, Iron Shoes couldn't even touch him because his "technique" of cutting the ring off was simply 1) walk forward at about half the speed Berto moves at swaying back and forth like an inflatable clown. 2)Thow a wild haymaker. 3) Repeat. If it wasn't for Berto lunging forward to continue holding, Urango wouldn't have even landed the body shots he did.

I still don't understand that logic for the life of me. Something's either wrong with his conditioning, or he got his gameplan from the Bizarro world because he willingly abandoned a fight that looked better and keeping him untouched for the sake of looking worse and taking more shots.

He reminds me of Zab but I think he throws more power shots, seems to put more behind a higher % of his punches. He has a similar stance and attack though, he needs to get better.

No not at all Berto isn't a front-runner like Zab.

Berto needs to fight some Welterweights. Hatton leftovers are old news.

Right I don't think he's a front runner like Zab is. I think he has trouble continually keeping the success going...but not in the same sense as Zab Judah. Judah is a ghost from rounds 6 on 99% of the time, Berto is more like a microwave/popcorn 3 point sharpshooter in basketball. Can heat up at the blink of an eye but if he hits a cold stretch he's useless.

I have to disagree. Judah was not just blazing fast, he was also very smart, very sneaky, and packed a tremendous punch, most of Judah's fights before the Tzyu fight were very exciting.

    Berto on the other hand.....

Berto's getting better with every fight and he has a champion's mentality. Look at the championship rounds Berto vs Collazo and come back and tell me he looks like Judah. He was gassed but he did something Judah has never done and thats dig deep

he makes mental errors sometimes. Like before he was a sucker for feints, but he's fixed that. Against Collazo he mixed it up when he shouldn't and gassed in the 2nd half, but he fixed that too. Berto is underrated on ESB right now

Exactly, as a belt holder, at this level, where he is going to have to fight top WW's, you can not afford to make mental mistakes, he will get hurt
