The story was made up for the press.

Yes, you do. When it looked like Haye was going to be fighting Vitali and not Wlad; Haye, Vitali and one or two others (I think maybe Vitali's wife) went out for a meal. When they were they were there, Haye got out his copy of mens health magazine and showed him the picture of him holding his younger brother's severed head. Vitali got angered and grabbed Haye (who reportedly just smiled back:D).

And incase you didn't notice, that t-shirt has the heads of both brothers. Haye scared of Vitali? I think not!

EDIT: Haye talks about the Vitali thing about 10mins in here http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/7785715.stm

I spoke to a journalist in Kiev who contacts the brothers on behalf of his newspaper from time to time. He said the whole restaurant thing was made up. It never happened in real life.

If front of his wife, at a resturant, an as you said he grabbed the *****, right, that is what you said, i guess you didn't see it when vitaily took pizza faces hat an would not give it back, hayes didn't even think about grabing him, or his hat, he was too scared,,,. Of course when vitali is out with the family, just proves to me pizza face is a bigger *****, just like when he went to a charity event to help feed africans that wlad was hosting, an he was calling him out, i mean does this guy not pick the perfect time to not really get a fair response from the other guy,,,i mean if vitali was out clubbing with some girls, then yea, but a family dinner

HAYES IS SCARED OF VITALI, BET THAT

David isn't SCARED of either brother; I really cannot see someone of his demeanor actually living in fear of someone else. His career path and quest for the HW title kinda back that up.

He's calculated and confident so yeah, he'll be apprehensive cause he knows what he's getting himself into, if anything he has larger concerns for Wlad that Vitali. And not just cause thats the fight on the horizon.

    I like Wlad.

But if anyone ever wonders why some people want him to lose, checking out a few of his 'fans' here would give you all the answers.

Pizza face link with BBC on this page, about four up,,,It is a 10 minute interview, but in the begining he says that lewis retired right after a tought fight with vitali, an vitali was getting the best of lewis. I remember this for a while.:yep

Fair enough, does he actually say he retired him though, or are you making that link?

Or did he actually heavily hint at that?

And that 'pizza face' moniker is so terrible I can't describe.

He made a heavy hint at it,,,,you don't have to hear the whole thing he says it with in the first minute of the interview
