At 130 pounds he and Bob Arum choose to duck Azumah Nelson and fight for the WBO trinket against the legendary Jimmy Bredahl.

Some at 130 but he was just a baby then and no matter how good he was he was never going to be put in with the likes of Azumah Nelson. Only last weekend we saw the result of inexperience (Angulo) against experience (cintron). It doesent matter he had so many amateur fights, its very different.

He clearly avoided Winky Wright but nevertheless, DLH's resume is one of the greatest ever.

No, Oscar never ducked anyone. By the time Forrest was someone and in Oscars weight class Forrest was a nobody.

As for Winky, why fight Winky when you beat the man who beat him. And why fight Winky when you're fighting Hopkins????

Again, ODLH never ducked anyone, including those two.

He KO Vargas who beat Winky. After Mosley fought Winky, he rematched him, and ODLH moved on to Hopkins who is a better fighter.

Campas was a tune-up after his loss to Mosley. He took on Mosley right after Campas.
