what you are saying in this post is that being on "wwf "and "dancing with the stars" did not expose floyd to millions of people who otherwise would not know him? have you any idea of how many viewers these shows generate? i can see why you wouldnt understand my thought process.

50/50 seems fair to me....but who am I. If I were PAC I would probably want the lions share considering his present situation as the #1 P4P fighter in the world and the most decorated champion in multipule divisions in recent times. PAC should get the lions share if Arum and team PAC don't agree to 50/50.

If Arum truly believes that statement then I think we should all resign to the fact that Pacquiao-Mayweather will not be happening, not anytime soon anyway!

50-50 split is fair to all parties. Pacquiao is not De La Hoya in terms of dictating the purse split & parity!

Here is an example a a person that dont want the fight to happen because he dont want to see Floyd win the fight.

As I stated there are two kinds of people that DONT WANT this fight to happen...Pac fans that dont want to see him lose, and Floyd haters that dont want to see him win. You are that:good

While I would like to see Floyd fight Cotto or Shane because there can be no excuses for him winning, I wouldnt mind him fighting Pac even though people like you will cry like babies about how Pac was too small...I will give you some credit being that your saying you dont want to see the fight in the first place. Thats better then the clowns that are claiming they want to see the fight only hoping that Floyd loses, but after he won they would make a million excuses as to why he won.

Well isn't that a serious list? Can there be more serious list than a world wide survey that includes head of states digntaries and celebrities?

Tell me . . . if any average person in the street knows Rush Limbaugh or Oprah Winfrey. :D

You are talking of Pacquiao being only popular in the Philippines and Asia this is what it's all about . . . and I'm proving you wrong so don't drag this into how much money PBF earned. :deal

Now let me hear it. :yep

They do. Millions upon millions of people watch or listen to them every day. Many Pacquiao isnt close to being the most famous fighter in the west. I'd put about 10 fighters or more as having more popularity then Pacquiao. If this list was serious, the only active sports star on that list who I'd place as being influential worldwide is Tiger Woods, because he earns as much bank as third world countries GDP. Nadal lol? M.I.A? Please.

By stating how much money Floyd has earned it just proves how much more popular and bankable he is then Pacquiao. Sorry but Manny isnt a household name in the USA, Floyd is though.

Oh yes they do? And they made it to the list . . . while Pacquiao who made it to the list too . . . is not known by average person ion the street?

Damn Danny Rand where did you get that arguement? :think :D

Being bankable? Let's see how much JMM/PBF fight makes and that will tell us a clear indication.

Meanwhile stick to the point . . . who is more popular? Tiger Woods was there, Rafael Nadal was there . . . and PBF was not even mentioned in the top 200 people. :deal

Why do I think Golden Boy could do a better job than Arum at this point. Oscar and Bernard are fighters and they understand fighters better obviously, and I think that difference makes the fight.

I dont understand what you mean. Oprah and Limbaugh are well known celebrities. If you havent heard of either of them you've been living in a box. If you havent heard of Pacquiao you just arent a boxing fan. And im sorry I love boxing to death but its not even top 4 in America these days in terms of sports.

And Floyd is easily more popular or atleast more well known. That is unquestionable. Manny Pacquiao has been fighting on the mainstream for what, 1 year? Please.
