Yeah, PBF definitely pulled a ***** move planning to steal thunder from the Pac-Hatton fight by announcing the fight on the same day. Then Pac KTFO Hatton in 2 and pretty much got everyone talking about Pac. Plan fail. And please, regardless of how great JMM is, PBF's last weight at fight night is around 149 while JMM was 140 and PBF has a 5 inch reach advantage (heck probably all phyisical advantages are with PBF). JMM is a big underdog in the fight. There's no way that PBF winning will make Pac look bad. And dont say size doesn't matter because the only time size doesn't matter is if the smaller guy has more skills, or is faster than the bigger guy which I highly doubt is the case.
not even if he dominates him and stops him? then how can you pac fans compare Pac's win against Hatton to Floyd's ??:huh all while highlighting how Pac is going to **** floyd?
I don't compare Pac's win over Hatton to Floyd's. I think the only reason Hatton lasted that long is because Floyd isn't as aggressive in the higher weights. You must have me confused with someone else. And I certainly don't think Pac is going to "****" floyd. Heck, as much as a Pac fan I am, I still think Pac is the underdog against PBF. Still, I'm just arguing about what you said in you last post - there is no way people would give PBF much props for beating a blown up lightweight who's getting pretty old and didn't look 100% in his last fight. And no way that PBF beating JMM will make Pac look bad.
alright cool....... now will floyd become a bigger favorite in your mind if he dispatches JMM in style, when Pac was uable too? given that that is not his style while pacs strives for the KO
Not really. Style wise I already think both PBF and JMM have styles to give Pac a lot of trouble. I don't think PBF's performance against JMM will be much of an indicator for a fight against Pac (unless it's because PBF has ring rust, which I doubt) So in the end, PBF beating JMM decisivley will not make Pac look bad IMO. Also while it might be true that PBF coming back has set the boxing scene abuzz, you can't deny that in PBF can't be mentioned without Pac being mentioned.
My question to the Pac fans is? If he is so fast and southpaw and angles, then why was Marquez who is so much slower able to catch him. Speed is a great asset in boxing, however, first and foremost you must have boxing skills to compliment the speed. That is why Marquez gives him so much trouble. Floyd not only has speed but exceptional boxing skills. Floyd showed this against Marquez, speed and skills. The weight did not slow Marquez down.:bbb
PAc has no chance against Floyd, and Roach is already recommending his charge retire after the Cotto fight. People liken what Pac can do to what Corley and Judah did. Those guys were physically bigger than Floyd, and Floyd beat both by UD. Pac won't take this fight. Arum or Roach won't dare let Floyd earn more money than Pac if they fight.
PAc's fans wil talk right up until they get scared to death the day of this fght if PAc has the balls to take this fight. It's going on almost 9 years to the day PAc fans... Good post.
PAC going up the weight of PBF. Always a risk but NO PROBLEM his willing to take that RISK!!! PAC always willing to GO OUT OF HIS COMFORT ZONE. PBF going up the weight level and meet PAUL WILLIAMS! DAMN! Are you serious, PBF taking risks?! PBF will JUST RETIRE AGAIN than GO OUT OF HIS COMFORT ZONE TO MEET PAUL WILLIAMS!!!!:rofl:rofl Yes, PBF beat Hatton but DID HE WENT OUT OF HIS COMFORT ZONE of 147lbs. HELL NO!!!!! Yes, PBF beat JMM but did he WENT OUT OF HIS COMFORT ZONE?! DAMN he can't even follow as was INITIALLY indicated of 144lbs. NOT BEING CONTENDED of JMM going up to 2 divisions. He was 2lbs overweight. DID PBF try to shed off those 2lbs - HELL NO! THat's AGAIN GOING OUT OF HIS COMFORT ZONE :silly:silly Is to 2lbs big. IT DEPENDS! PBF fans would say IT'S ACTUALLY INSIGNIFICANT! But when PAC asked for 2lbs shy of 147 lbs. THEY SAID COTTO will be a walking corpse?! :rofl Funny, PBF fans CELEBRATE AS IF THEY BEAT JMM on his own COMFORT ZONE :rofl:rofl
Style makes fight. Pac will swarm over him. His speed will overwhelm Floyd. Marquez's counterpunching is not effective against Floyd. Pac will utilize Zab Judah's style. I am not saying Pac will win but he will give him a good fight, better than a mismatched Marquez.
And you think Pac has no skills to complement his speed. You cannot compare Pac w/ Marquez if ever he fights Floyd because they have different styles. Counterpunching is not effective against Floyd. But speed coupled w/ aggressiveness does. Zab Judah had proven that his style is effective against Floyd. And leftie Pac is capable of doing a Judah.
While you compared Floyd's way of dispatching JMM, why don't you also compare Floyd's fights w/ dela Hoya and Hatton, common opponents' of the two. Floyd had a constipation disposing the two, while Pac had a diarrhea, to borrow Johnco's line.
