That is a good post & my thoughts exactly. What part don't you understand? I'm not going to debate it either, my mind's made up.
There is no point in that term, and short of the marketing for Cooney-Holmes, there hasn't been for decades. It didn't make sense when there were black champs, and it makes even less now because I'm not sure how you can get much "whiter" than some of the guys who've been winning titles the last few years. As for blacks, or anyone, being naturally superior fighters, I can't take that kind of **** seriously when I read it. It's one of the biggest backhanded "compliments" I can think of to all the black fighters who work their asses off to become contender and champion level fighters because it implies you can be both lazy and great. You can't be both a lazy champion and a good one. Maybe someone should've told Bernard Hopkins, Holyfield, Hagler, and the rest that it turns out they didn't need to put all those years in at the gym to refine their skills after all, because they were "naturally superior".
I hate to say it, but it may also go back to property law when ANY black blood meant you were subject to being "property".
its objective. its not racist to say that black atheletes are more gifted and you're only sayng that becase yuou're lonely and reaching for something...and you are....
Y'know I was going to point that out too.................as if to diminish the efforts of Black fighters since after all they already have the upper hand. I don't believe that, I think the Greats developed into the greats they were. There may have been a small amount of inherited skill or talent but 85% more than likely is developed in the gym.
Damned. Never thought of that. Excellent point. That said, I do believe you have abilities they are born with. It isn't just hard work that makes most world class sprinters black.
Yeah, keep writing in ******ed poems like that. You're only impressing yourself. So Joe Louis didn't have to work his ass off to become the Heavyweight Champion of the World right? I don't have to reach too far to see you're a racist.
