Larry has also referred to Pacquiao's left as the best weapon in boxing and one of the best in the history of the sport. I couldn't agree more.

maybe so, maybe so... can't think of a bigger left handed hitter off the top of my head. There are some right handers with left hooks as good as Pac's straight left though.

3 people have voted no though... I wonder if they can name who they think has a better straight left?

If it isn't it has to be amongst the best.

well I can't speak for all of them but there are some people who when they see "Pacquiao" and "best" in the same sentence, they have an aneurism.

P4P maybe, Michael Moorer knocked out a lot of men a lot bigger than himself with that awesome left of his.

    Marvin Hagler's left wasn't bad.

Same goes with Vic Darchiniyan, pretty powerful also.

I always think of Vasily Jirov and his left liver hook to Terry McGroom for some reason too.

Asero - What the hell does "vunerability" have to do with making his left stronger?

Lol, I didn't want to say anything but I was thinking that since they voted no and didn't back it up that there's a chance it's just the Pac-hate that they feel.

I would vote yes but I'm not well versed in boxing history. I was actually genuinely interested in who they thought had a better straight left.
