First, margie was force to vacate or he would've got stripp'd anyways & now IBF forced, well didnt force cuz Clottey sat on his ass for 10 months, clottey to vacate or get stripp'd.

No to mention that there was the unification with Mosley that fell thru.

mosley was the WBC Interm WW Champ before the fight with Cotto. Mr Suliman, himself, gave the WBC blessin for Mosley to put the WBC Interm belt on the line & Mosley chose to vacate instead.

IMO, Mosley vacated the title on orders of Oscar. Oscar & PBF had just fought & had a brief partnership. Had Mosley put the belt on the line Cotto would've had the Interm title while pBF had the full one. Cotto could've went to the WBC & force them to mandate the title fight between him & PBF for the unification & Suliman would have mandate that match cuz of the almighty $$$$$. PBF knew that so did Oscar & That is why mosley chose to vacate it instead on defendin it.

Cotto has fought current champs & has beaten them. Its not Cotto fault of the Boxing politics that go on.

with four belts per division now this type of question is not fair to greats like Ray Robinson who had to beat THE champion not one of four mediocre beltholders.

This day and age saying a fighter beat 15 world champions does not mean **** compared to the past. Anyone can get a belt these days if you want proof look at who has belts now. It is a disgrace. Anyone can handpick the worst beltholder in multiple divisions these days.
