Marg was his best victory followed by Wink. He should of took the immediate rematch though.
The one everyone forgets Marg asked for in the ring after the fight. In the post fight conference and the month or so following the fight. He didn't want the rematch til Marg beat Cotto.
But a very good fighter with potential he needs big fights but he really isn't being avoided as much as is believed here.
He needs to clean up on one division to get those fights. He is a dangerous fight for most and without that leeway he'll get screwed. Clottey was more than willing to face him but he didn't want that risk either. So take it how you want.

Williams already has an excellent list of vanquished foes, and nobody wants to fight him, dont understand how anyone could critisize him for this...

williams hops from division to division preying on the weakest belt holders and oldest hall of famers

hes scared to call out sugar shane, money may, miguel cotto and joshua 'blood' clottey.

weak argument, just because Margarito was avoided does not mean he was the best. Not only that Winky, challenged margarito for the same amount of money that Arum was offering Floyd, which Arum quickly backed off and would only offer half. Seeing how Winky beat shane not once but twice convincingly both times with out taking nearly as much damage as margarito did, it would be safe to say that Winky not Margarito is the best fighter Williams has faced.

True. But how did he fare in the rematch?

Losses are always a tough pill to swallow but sometimes an impressive showing in the rematch (Lewis/Rahman) will help to put those blemishes well behind you.

Marg and it isn't even close!!!!

The version of Marg that Williams beat is much better than the version of Winky that he beat!!! There's a lot of P-Dub love at the moment (a little too much for my liking), but we have to appreciate this guy is very talented!! I know he want the big fight but I think he shopuld just stay in one division for the moment (154) and try to clean it out..then he can move up from there!!!

Don't get me wrong, I know Winky's a much much better fighter than Margarito, but that was not the Winky that we all remember out there...hence why he got beaten so soundly!!! Don't forget Winky had been inactive for nearly 2 years, and had won one fight since 2005.

To me comparing the victories would be like comparing Calzaghe's wins over Kessler and RJJ. We all know RJJ is miles ahead of Kessler, but not at the points that Calz fought them!!!
