why does marquez have to make a statement...he already has two hella close fights with him where many more think he won then lost....not only that, but what marquez did at lightweight was amazing, that alone should've set up the trilogy....

it seems to me that pac is just praying that marquez loses so that he never has to face him again....

Jean Claude Van Damme (see Floyd) is highly overrated ...
he never had balls to fight Chuck Norris (Margo).
Paco (jmm) should kick his ass in the first place.

Those that want JMM to win are either serious JMM fans or serious FMJ haters.

The best fight to be made in boxing in any division is FMJ-Pac.
Only ****`s dont want to see this mega-fight.

More delusional nonsense. Let me remind you that it was Pacquiao the one who fought him and called him out for the first two fights back when JMM was complaining about being ducked by all.

Pacquiao moves up in weight, if JMM wants it he should do the same and what better way to secure it than to fight and beat Mayweather who the entire boxing public see as the best opponent for Pac?, only way to change public's view is to fight and beat that man otherwise the demand for a Mayweather fight outshines Marquez and his last two wins.

By the way, Pacquiao's last two wins wipe the floor with Marquez' last two wins. So a statement like beating Mayweather is the only best one to make right now to secure Pacquiao in a third fight 100%.

it's all good we'll see both I think. after floyd beats Marquez then beats Pac the fight that will make the most sense for Pac and Marquez is against each other for the third time.

Why can't Mayweather/Pac still go down if JMM wins?
(Is it because peep's think he will retire after an "L")

Why can't Marquez/Pac III go down if Mayweather wins?
(Does an "L" to JMM against a Welterweight diminish him that much?)

it doesn't matter who called who out back in the day...the fact remains that jmm has beaten pacman (remember, even roach said it could've gone either way, and that speaks volumes), and the fans wanna see a 3rd fight.....

there is history already there and it should be finished while jmm is still in his prime...he shouldn't have to face anybody to finally meet manny again...why ? cause like i said, there is already history there....

if it was just another fighter trying to fight manny, then i agree, you gotta go through the storm first, but jmm has gone through many storms already.....

and you know deep down inside that we might not ever see jmm vs pac again.....

if you're looking at it face value then you'd have to say Pac-Floyd because it's an interesting match-up and it's a fight we've never seen before. BUT

BUT - IF JMM beats Floyd, shows how much better he is then Floyd, outboxer and/or outworks Floyd, get a clear win on points or othewise...THEN it proves once and for all what kind of a legendary match-up Pac-Jmm really is.
    but that's a big IF

Of course I'd rather see Pac - PBF than a third JMM fight.

But after everything he's given us, I don't want to see him blown out either.
