and how exactly is being on the receiving end of dirty fighting "stinking out the gym"? If anything, Pac was so frustrated he was going all out offensively...that's hardly stinking out the gym

I think Floyd would want to dominate I doubt he would stink the joint up in this mega fight. He shouldn't wanna win that way.

Pac in a competitive fight. Mayweather is either gonna give away too many early rounds, try to catch up in the second half, get tagged over and over again and simply not do enough to win.

If Pac Roach and Arum don't weight weaken Floyd by asking for a the fight at 140, Floyd's jab alone could set an on rushing PAc up for a counter check hook ko in 9 or less. Nedal Hussein landed a hook that hurt Pac badly and imo had him out. Morales used his jab to thwart anything Pac had to offer. Marquez was able to time Pac coming in using his counter punching skills which Floyd specializes in. Pac will not be able to rush in and explode with punches on Floyd unless he has a weight weakened Floyd in front of him, and that is exactly what Roach wants. I see this as a styles fight, and while Pac does have the southpaw stance and speed, Floyd is the taller man with the longer reach. Floyd might get hit early, and that's a big "might" right up until he solves Pac by jabbing Pac to the body and head right before he finishes Pac with body and head shots.

    that was the obliteration option

i mean you gotta look at who floyd fought at the higher weights though...

oscar @ 154 with big ass gloves
zab who was on his way to being stop before the low blows
baldomir who has an iron chin
    hatton who got tko'd

prior to those last couple fights floyd ko% was in the mid 70's more or less... he has tko ability... more so on accumulation then one shot.. but a pacman stoppage is very realistic

You can also throw in the Barrera-PAc II fight as a boring fight for PAc also. Throw in the Diaz fight also since I hate mismatches.

It's a fair point mate, but I do disagree. I just don't see Mayweather having the power to stop Pac, not at all. We'll have to wait and see.

Maybe you havent been watching Mayweather for awhile, but anybody around his size gets worked and stoped alot. Pacquiao is Mayweather size and he would get KO, Mayweather has preety good power guys, just WW is big for him thats all. Hatton was more his size so Hatton got KO.

I guess it depends on which version of PBF we will see during the fight. If he's as aggressive as he was during his LW stint, a stoppage for either is very much possible as Pac is at his best against more aggressive opponents but PBF was definitely a beast when he attacked more. If PBF decides to be more defensive like he was against the WWs, I have a feeling that a UD for PBF is more than likely.

You hate mismatches? You must hate a helluva lot of Floyd's fights then.

Do you seriously want to go through their resumes and see who has had the most boring fights?? You will lose - but that will be nothing new for you I suppose. :good

And we've seen Pac dazed recently (not in the last 3 fights because he's cleaned them out as quickly as possible) but Pac was hurt by a right hand from MAB (incorrectly called a headbutt or perhaps accompanied with a headbutt) and of course JMM had his moments hurting him as well.

I don't THINK a stoppage or a KO loss is likely but I'm not one to write it off. Then again I think Pac might be able to KO Floyd as well.

Look at it like this: Floyd has faught some guys who are really really slow recently. Carlos Baldomir fights with his feet practically glued to the floor, Ricky Hatton is sort of average speed wise in his more recent plodding wrestler/brawler/mauler style, Oscar hasn't been faced since what? 1999?

It's entirely possible Floyd will be overwhelmed by seeing somebody THAT fast after so many fights against slower competition.

PBF by Clear UD. Pac isn't going to KO PBF and he's not going to outbox him either. Pac will be bothered by PBF's defense ring IQ and counter-punching not only that but his length and jab will cause him problems as well. PBF will make the adjustments in this fight and win going away. Pac is more one-dimensional and won't be able to adjust once his balls to the wall approach doesn't work he can't outbox the boxing master.:deal

In match ups like this you have to turn to history and when two prime elite P4P fighters square off you have to go with the boxer over the brawler or puncher history has proven this and this case is no different. PBF by UD is the smart pick here.:deal

(I pray & hope) It will have the back forth action after of a couple feel out rounds early, with Floyd being stunned now and then, but Pac not getting off the canvas around round 9...
