If Floyd Vs Pacman Occured How Would You See It Playing Out?

Pacquiao has a great chin though, Hatton doesn't. Mayweather couldn't stop Judah, whereas Tszyu and Cotto both stopped him brutally. PBF does have decent power above 140, but not great power, and it will not be enough to stop Pac.

 

This will be the most competitive fight Floyds ever been in. Who's the best Floyd ever beat up until now? DLH? Manny smashed him to bits. Hatton? Ricky was lucky to escape with his life against Pac Man. Corrales? Chico could punch like he was palming a horseshoe and had unbelieveable heart, but no defense, and less skill than most top guys. Chavez, or Castillio are both on a slightly lower level .
Of course, this will be Pac's toughest test so far as well.
So how will it play out? Who knows, thats why I hope it'll happen!

 

Yeah but decent power coupled with PERFECT precision and great speed will do a lot more damage than pure power.

I never said they were out of their minds, nor anything like it. If you look at the last page, you will see me say "I could be wrong... we'll need to wait and see" etc etc.

Manny's footwork and movement will make it hard for Floyd to utilize precision and speed. Mayweather will find him a lot harder to hit cleanly than he or his fans think.

Mark my words - this fight will DEFINITELY go the full 12 no matter who wins. Neither of these guys can stop the other IMO.

 

And to be fair was Pac-Barrera II really Pac's fault? MAB was extremely unwilling to engage and was very much in non-MAB warrior mode.

 

I don't disagree with that. I think it would go 12 rounds as well.

I'm just saying that the people who say Floyd would hurt or KO Manny aren't crazy. Not that YOU are saying they're out of their minds but 9/10ths of the people here still think that Manny can't be hurt by Floyd. Truth is quite the contrary.

 

Nallege thinks the rise of the Nazis, the lack of clean drinking water in Africa, and the global economic crisis are all Pac's fault though.

 

He can be hurt, of course he can. He is a former flyweight and former featherweight world champ fighting above 140lbs, where he has no right to be. IMO, he will not be stopped though.

 

Floyd is somewhat of a wildcard coming into fights, being that he sometimes has a tendency to fight with a chip on his shoulder. With all this hype and praise surrounding Pac he very well may show up on fight night with this same attitude to go out and get this guy out of there in brutal fashion ie. Corley, Mitchell, and Ndou.

I expect Pac to hang with FLoyd for the first 5 rounds, through his workrate, boxing skills and foot work. Floyd will look troubled at first, as he begins to find a way to consistently land his right hand. And he will land his right hand. Which will begin to take a toll, Pac will no longer show the spring in his step he did against Hatton and De La Hoya, but will once again be forced to become the linear fighter he was against JMM. As FLoyd cosistently lands his right hands which Pac hasnt shown a defense against yet, Pacs workrate will also drop, and he will be put on the defensive. Pac fighting off the back foot will not be as effective as Pac fighting coming forward, Floyd will then be able to open up with several combinations. Floyd drops Pac in the 11th with a body shot, hwoever pac is able to recover and survive the rest of the fight, with floyd largely show boating to the crowd closing out the twelfth.

Of course this is my analysis of Floyd circa 07, we'll see if he's lost a step against Marquez which could change my analysis of the fight.
