There are better fights to be made, but at this point I don't care. Too many heavyweight title fights have been canceled this year. I don't care who it is, but Wlad better find an opponent quick.

First off, Minto would get slaughtered. Secondly, Fat Boy James Toney is not going to fight Wlad (well maybe for $20 million), plus he would get slaughtered also. Neither of their styles matches up well with Wlad K.

boring fight. that's a sparring session with minto suffering a concussion. we need a name or solid fighter.

valuev, povetkin, chambers, arreola, toney...given the short notice, any would be more than good...i feel bad for wlad. both povetkin and haye cancelling on him mere weeks before the fight. wasting his prime.

    Where is the Minto Express!

WBO#9 heavyweight Brian “The Beast” Minto (33-2, 21 KOs) says that he is available to fight WBO champ Wladimir Klitschko. “I am ready and willing to face Wlad in 2 1/2 weeks at Veltins-Arena. “After a tune-up 6 weeks ago, I never left the gym. I am in shape and ready to go!” stated Minto. A winner of 6 straight and 15 of his last 16, Minto does appear to be a viable replacement for the WBO title now that Haye is out. Having fought in major fights on German soil before, Minto is also undefeated on both HBO (TKO7 of Vinnie Maddelone (25-2) and RTL (TKO6 of former IBF title challenger Axel Shultz (26-4). “I’m not only the best American heavyweight, but I have always interacted well with the German fans. If given the opportunity, I will display to the entire world the heart of a true champion.” Minto added.

How long would it take Minto to knockout Wlad? Minto is the self proclaimed best american heavyweight and he is the reigning WBA fedcentro heavyweight title holder. I guess the big question is would Minto's title also be on the line?:nut

My bet is Wlad ducks him, just like he has the past 4 years.
