Not at a catch weight he isn't and that's what team Pac is banking on. If he fought Oscar at 147 why not fight Shane there as well? This is a ***** move by Pac.

What I don't like is a catchweight instead of the WW limit like DLH had to do. Why?

Let's hope this happens because what we really want is the winners fighting eachother early next year :thumbsup

A lot more likely than PAC vs Floyd. I think this is the best fight that is avaiable in boxing. This is a HUGE challenge for PAC and vise versa. Even at a catch weight Shane will be holding more advantages than PAC in terms of the Physical aspect. Shane is stronger, bigger and has more experience. PAC will be faster, younger and probably more comfortable not having to really focuse on loosing weight. Although Sug stays down in weight too.

This is an evenly put together match to say the very least and either man can win. I see PAC winning this one however.

it won't be at 147, mosley has already said he's willing to come down. its still going to be a great fight though. i can't wait for this one!

Because Team Pac wants Shane to come in drained. The guy hasn't fought this low in a decade and is only doing it for a cash grab. Team pac knows Shane at 147 would be hell but a weight drained Shane should be an easy target just like Oscar.:deal

But you'll be watching this "BS". Honestly at 147 Shane would be holding a HUGE advantage over PAC with just the power edge alone. I think the catch weight makes this a little more even....maybe less intriguing b/c had PAC accpeted the challenge at 147 I think the odds would favor Shane by a landslide. This evens things up on the books...or at least i think it should.

If this fight pulls off then i see Floyd (should he beat Marquez) fighting the winner of Cotto-Clottey.

***** move? pac had considered mosley right now even without the talk of which weight. previously pac also entertained the thought of fighting margarito. meanwhile floyd had not condsidered someone from welterweight. and he wants a featherweight/lightweight for his comeback fight. i wonder who's the *****?

aslo in pac-oscar, pac weighted just 142 on weigh-in. it would be just fair that this is done in a cathweightweight. 143/144 would be fine but if pac accepts it at 147, then pac has some serious issue with his guts.

I hope this fight comes off it would be a huge fight. I'm guessing it will be at 145lbs like the Floyd vs Marquez fight.

Man I really hope this can happen. This is a huge challenge for Pac as well as Shane.
Even at 43-44 Shane will still hold all the advantages. He always stays in shape so I'm hoping the weight won't cause him any problems.
I see Pac as the underdog again but I'll be pullin for him like always.

I don't think he would because the money wouldn't be near what it would be if he fought the winner of Pac/Mosley

I would also like to see this fight at 147 so Pac would get the full credit and a belt if he wins. Making 37 year old Mosley come in at 142 is not right.
