if Paul Williams waz 2 move up to supermiddleweight, which he says hes willing to do,and fights the cobra,Carl Froch the undefeated WBC supermiddleweight champion at a catchweight,WHO WOULD WIN?,Paul Williams is the same height as Froch, and i believe his tall, lean body would have no problem at all holding the extra weight!! Paul also throws way many more punches then Froch,im not saying dat Paul will beat Froch,im just saying this match up right here would be very intriguing!!! PREDICTIONS????????

Crazy fight can't see it happening.

Froch by late TKO IMO he's too strong.

Love Froch but Williams on points, he is a great fighter that hasnt been given the proper opportunity to showcase his skills against a prime world class opponent. I'd love to be proved wrong though, and likewise i cant see it happening :)

I don't know ... i'd go with Williams by decision ... I don't think he give froch an inch for 12 rounds.

Interesting fight, won't happen anytime soon but interesting.
I'd go with Froch,he's bigger, naturally bigger man and with his punching power and Williams's poor defence he might take him out.

One thing we don't have to worry about is Williams gassing late. So just get the Jermain Taylor scenario out your heads...

Paul would be able to outpoint him easily in the first few rounds as Froch struggles to find his way in the beginning. And by the time Froch (who isn't the most skilled guy in there) is able to figure out how to score a few points, Williams would be well ahead on points and be able to force Froch to expend too much energy chasing him. It's one thing to be able to let your adrenanline carry you into beating up on a guy like JT who is completely gassed, but it's a completely different feeling coming out in the 11th and 12than to face a guy who is just as fresh and crisp as he was n the 1st, still throwing 100 punches.

PW takes this on points rather easily, IMHO.

Williams would make Froch look like the monster that he THINKS he is.

Not even really a fair matchup for Paul. The only thing comparable about them is height. Froch would be far too big, strong, heavy handed for the easy to hit Williams.

And Paul has nothing to even get Froch's respect with.

    Froch would knock Williams out.
