I'm a huge Pac fan - but I'm so sad to say I can't see him beating Shane.

yeah it's a great ****ing point. PBF has been bashed to no end for fighting and calling out smaller guys when it's a known fact that going up in weight is much easier to do than going down. Why is it that Pac can fight Oscar at 147 and Shane at lower catch weight? No one has answered that question worth a damn yet. If Pac fights guy like Cotto or Shane it must be at a catch weight he's hoping the weight effects them that's bull**** and you know it but will never admit it.

    WTF?!

You and I know that MOSLEY FIGHTING PBF will have NO WEIGHT ISSUES. THEY BOTH CAN FIGHT AT 147LBS COMPARED TO JMM fighting PBF!

you still don't see your idol being a CHERRY PICKER DON't you!?!

I think Mosley cutting three pounds is fairer than Pac giving away 12lbs on fightnight. Of course it is.

The post you are responding to answers that question perfectly, but you're too blinkered and biased to see it.

I am 100% in agreement with this post because even a couple of pounds lost will become an issue the longer the fight goes and I think if Mosley has to make anything lower than 145 he will be canned beef

    To the original poster,

I share your sentiments. I love both fighters, and I don't believe I'll be rooting for anyone.

HOWEVER, I REEALLY REALLY want to see a Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight, so part of me will want Pacquiao to win just for the sake of that fight...otherwise it'll lose some of its luster.

Shane fighting at 144 is NOT the same thing as ODLH fighting at 147.

I fear that Pacquiao will be in a world of trouble from a fighter who finishes strong and can take a punch just about as well as he can throw one.

It'll be an awesome fight, though.

No it hasn;'t been answered that's typical bull**** spin by a Pac fan like yourself. Pac isn't fighting these guys at their best and is getting full credit for it that's the problem I have with it.

But Pacquiao isn't fighting Mosley at 147 pounds right? So you think Moving up 2 weight class is more dangerous then a fighter that is close to 40 have to drain himself to make 3 pounds lower ( or more) to make the weight?

Ach 144 is probably about right for this fight. Pacs a natural light welter nowadays. Freddie says so. 145 would seem to be about perfect in my book

But to all you p-p-p-p-*******s - you do realise if this fight is made and the weight drain turns mosely into what de la hoya was like, pac will get no end of criticism and abuse

    Laughable and ludicrous.

Floyd WAS a ww for years and didn't want to fight other ww's like Cotto, Margarito, Williams and Mosley.

Pac has fought once at ww, and has since gone to lww, but he is the coward for wanting Mosley to meet him in the middle.

Meanwhile, Floyd is making Marquez jump 2 divisions.

YOU COULD NOT MAKE THIS **** UP!!!!!!!!!!

fighting someone bigger than you size-wise is as dangerous if not more than dangerous because if you could not handle the guys power at the higher weight, it would result in a permanent damage.
