    Any one got any i stories or facts about monzon, any one know the story of him and rourke sparring?

    Have read the 'Mickey Rourke sparred Monzon' story on the Net somewhere before.

    BoxRec shows Rourke with 6-0-2 at light heavy.

    I heard a 50 yr. old Monzon broke or dislocated his jaw within 30 seconds.

    would have had to have happened in the early 90's if true. And if so no suprise, as a top tier boxer could / would easily be able to do that. Even after being out of the game for a while.

    If true I don't see it as a bad reflection on MR in any way.
