Haye needs 1 to 2 years to build up his confidence

People shouldn't be so rough on David Haye for cancelling his June 20th fight with Klitschko. Haye turned heavyweight only a few months ago...he deserves one to two years of preparation before facing Klitschko.

Boxing fans who expect Haye to rush into a Klitschko fight are unrealistic. Anyone who disrespects Haye for making the wise decision to cancel the June 20th fight is not a true boxing fan.

The best route for Haye, now, would be to follow Evander Holyfield's strategy for moving from cruiserweight to heavyweight. Holyfield took a full two years to campaign at heavyweight before challenging for the title.

If Haye takes Holyfield's approach, he will be more confident.
