Haye admitted fears about referee only hours before injury

    He injured his hand & back right after he started questioning the ref? Coincidence? Doesn't sound like it.

    the fight he fought against sanders an most of his fights sence being on HBO, there was a american or non-german ref, i have never seen wlad get any special treatment,,,on another note i seen some english refs ROB fights from forgieners. I mean unless they were getting davied parris (english ref) an hayes was feeling guilty, which alot bitches do, ha ha ha

    Bingo. Even though he didn't get starched - like he WOULD have if he had the balls to face Wlad - he still got exposed.

    He didnt admit to it hours before injury... Just because the article was posted only hours before doesnt mean anything... He could have said it days before he was injured.

    The news wire said the article was posted 11 hours ago. I doubt very much that the journalist would have waited several days before publishing Haye's remarks.

    Regardless of whether the interview took place several days ago or a few hours ago, it says something about Haye's frame of mind. He is displacing his fear onto the world around him.

    Haye had good reason to be afraid. Think about it, you're a guy with coming up from a lighter weight who's had chin issues down there, and now all of a sudden you're taking on the best HW in the world, a hard puncher, and this after having only two HW fights, one against a tomato can, the other against a washed up fringe contender.

    The more Haye thought, the more he realized he didn't want to get KTFO. :yep Hence, no fight.

    Vitali could have ref'ed the fight and it wouldn't have mattered, someone was gonna get KTFO in 6 rounds.

    Ref the reason why Haye pulled out = very far fetched....

    Haye seemed to be more and more nervous as the fight got closer, not to say he's faking the injury of course but he brought all the pressure on his self with all the trash talks he started. Hope this is postponed and not totally cancelled till next year.

    Haye would've got KTFO anyways.

    Its a pity for the fight. But it would have been a let down. He's not on that level and lacks experience.

    Haye is pretty inactive. He better get some rounds in before coming after a Klitschko again. Gomez or Lyakhovich would be a good challenge right now for Haye. Or maybe he should go back down to cruiserweight and match Adamek.
