your cool with me eze. your not so much as unreasonable floydette as i have encountered. but heck man, i have always been fair in my post before and i have always maintained that pbf has one of the best skill set i have seen in my life.

what gets my goat is him fighting jmm who is truly a 2 weight class fighter below him in his rematch.

and no amount of argument that he is p4p no. 2 can convince me of that.

for example, tyson was in prison for 3.5 years and went he came back he still fought the heavyweights. he did not fight the cruisers and the light heavies when he came back did he.

i really had no issue about some fans calling pbf a cherrypicker before but its getting plain to see that his resume above 135 is quite thin. he had a chance at legacy by beating perhaps mosley, cotto, williams and he will probably be 10 atg but jmm, hatton and pac? these fighters are either 1 or 2 weights below him. why so?

That's because heavyweight has no weight limit to fight at.

    This is 135-147 (143 actually).

Pac and JMM are the same size. If JMM is too small for Floyd then so is Pac. JMM arguably beat Pac twice and mind you Pac fought JMM and weighed 144 in their last fight. Pac has put on a total of 4-5lbs roughly.

JMM isn't tested at higher weights, well here's his test. A man who is going to be a couple lbs more than what Pac was. I mean the **** is exaggerated.

JMM to Floyd is not that big of a deal in size.

Floyds resume above 135 is icing on the cake. We are talking his 4th weight class. No matter what Floyd does he will critized.

    Mosley too old.

    Cotto a Margo left over.

    Pac too small.

    Jmm too small.

Williams? No one at 147 is going to fight Williams, lets not act like he's the only one not fighting Williams (not saying you are).

The best part of this all is even if Floyd were to go to 135 and fight JMM people would still complain about the size difference.

Mosley is clearly the bigger man. He's gonna tee off on Pac's face with numerous straight rights...although, Pac has a pretty big face.

that is not the point. heavies can fight at 300 lbs for all i care. the question is why should a legitimate WW who was a p4p king over a year ago come back against a smaller man.

it would seem that he is preying on the vulnerability of jmm who was looking for a money fight despite the obvious risk. a big good fighter will always outclass a smaller good fighter assuming skilss are equal. that is plain and clear to see.

pics clearly show, in other threads that pbf is a huge mofo at 147 and 154 and can comfortably carry that weight. at 36 years old, jmm body has more than matured and in some cases plateaud or started its decline in terms of gaining mass.

come fight night, jmm will probably come in at 145 in fear of being too heavy and sluggish while pbf ca comfortably go as high as 150 or 152 kick the ass of jmm from post to post.

My main point is, Mosley is WAY bigger compared to Pac than Floyd is to Marquez.

mosley is 5'9. has fought as high 154 and has settled in the 147-154 range for how many years already.

pbf should be fighting this guy. not pac.

Oh, I think I agree with that, although....it's pretty close.

JMM has no business going north of 135, IMO.

    Pac is an exceptional freak.

Because Floyd isn't a legit WW. He's no more than 149lbs on fight night. Most of the other WWs are 156-160 (Cotto, Margo, Mosley all 160)

No, this fight is clearly a warm up fight for Floyd. Everyone knows it but he won't say it, he's selling a PPV. Would be stupid to say hey this is a warm up fight but its on PPV.

Floyd is huge at 147? Are you sure about that? He's fairly quite small compared the rest of the WWs.. 154? Jesus he's very small for 154.

Floyd has already stated he's down to 146-147. Marquez already weighs 141 on fight nights. There's no need for him to gain more than couple lbs. (He can do this and maintain speed)

True but no one thought Pac should go above 135 either. This is JMMs test, although everyone knows its a warm up fight for Floyd.

I just dislike people getting mad about size difference. They act like this is first time in boxing that a smaller fighter has gone up to face a bigger fighter.

I have no problems with the match. I happen to believe that Pacquiao is one of those rare fighters who was able to move up beyond what common wisdom would suggest is wise, and able to actually LOOK BETTER in doing so.

I do not believe JMM will carry the weight north of 135 nearly as well.

I could be wrong, but that's how I feel.
