Toney is likely in as good as shape as he is going to be. He doesnt train hard everyone knows it. He just spars and insults his sparring partners. No reason he wouldnt be ready to go. No denying Toney is one of my favorite fighters of all time. If Toney has the opportunity he will take the fight.

Now I wouldn't mind seeing Ruiz on the end of that beating. Him or maskaev. get rid of these garbage mandatories. maybe fight both one after the other to give the fans some return on their money :p

it's funny to me coz Goosen said Arreola is not, I mean, even out of shape Arreola is in better shape than in shape Toney.

Toney is another big name for Wladimir Klitschko to put on his resume if this fight comes off. Toney is going to get beat down if this fight happens.

Hell no. James has seen way better days. His workrate and mobility have slowed so much in his last couple of fights.Even his ability to slip punches and his shoulder rolls are getting bad.
Someone close really needs to tell him to hang em up.Ever since the Holy fight or Ruiz fight its been downhill.

Waiting for team Wladimir to contact them only to see Toney demand 75% for losing every meaningful heavyweight fight he had and go back to Burger King.

Is Arreola ever in shape?, even if he was they won't risk their undefeated hyped up heavyweight like that. Toney is past it and needs anything big thrown at him, either take it or retire.

Chris Arreola must look like Jabba the ****ing Hut if they are saying he's out of shape.. his "in-shape" is a disgrace.

Dan has no other options. Seems Toney is asking for this fight a long time now. But last fight of Wlad when Povetkin pulled out i heard a lot of talk from fighters like Maskaev willing to fight. I didnt heard much of Toney. Maybe he knows he would suffer his first KO defeat against Klitschko.
