wlad vs meehan june 20th

    do you think wlad would accept meehan as a replacement or would he believe its a little too risky for him on such short notice?

    and would meehan think its too risky for himself as he probably has been training for what he thought would be a relatively easy keep busy fight last week?

    if meehans FITNESS is up to scratch then i believe it would be an interesting battle for wlad as meehan is a big guy who can throw some big bombs and also has a long reach that could trouble him for a while.

    meehan has apparently challenged all the top guys for quite some time but no one wants to risk fighting him, they want as easy opponents as possible.

    Meehan is not in Vlad's league, not even close. Vlad would stop Meehan the same way he stopped Ray Austin. Easy knockout for Vlad.

    he deserves a shot as much as the rest of the contenders. if its good enough for holyfield to get a shot its good enough for meehan.

    it doesn't matter whether u like the fighter or not.

    Too risky?? They're actively pursuing Chagaev, going after a top 5 guy who is a southpaw, which they haven't prepared for. I don't think Meehan would count as a risk.

    based on his accomplishments meehan's about as relevant to the heavyweight division as haye is. maybe even more. based on this i couldnt argue the fight being made. but really it would be a huge waste of time.
