    Wlad KO7 Johnson.

Too much, too big, too advanced, too strong. Just a different style of fighting and in this respect Wlad wins the imposition of will.

Johnson gives Wlad a boxing lesson and stops him late.

Everybody says that the fight proves nothing about an old timer being able to beat a modern superheavyweight because Wlad only had the skill of an amateur anyway.

Whenever Jack Johnson is dream matched against a modern fighter I have fits trying to pick the winner. On one hand Johnson is often called the best defensive HW champ ever. On the other hand you have to remember that Johnson fought in an era where the jab was in its infancy and true combination punching was a rare sight as well. For the style of boxing that was prevelant at the time no one will argue that Johnson was a defensive wizard. But dodging single thrusts from the likes of Ketchel and Burns, a middle and super middle or the occassional swipe from a very crude Willard or the well aimed headbuts from Jim Flynn aren't the same as dodging hard fast long jabs and follow up rights and lefts from a man the size of Vlad. Say what you want about Klitschko but there's no denying that the man can box, especially under the tutelage of an ATG trainer like Emmanual Steward. On film I have yet to see anything in Johnson that would convince me 100% that he could handle a big skilled modern heavy with good fundementals. His low guard could be problematic against a taller man with good skills ala Vlad or Ali or Holmes, men who throw more than just one punch at a time and possess long punishing jabs. Maybe Jack could deal with it. The man was gifted physically no doubt but I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Vlads' chances in this match. I'm not saying that Vlad would win or if he would that it would be easy but I don't think it's fair to simply say that Johnson would win easily either. Basically we're talking about two different sports in a stylistic manner. Whitch style is superior? I don't know.

Yes, mention Johnson's name and anyone who disagrees with your BS, calls you out, and corrects you more times than I care to remember is a racists. Your modus operandi is well known here Mcvey.

You are also a liar. You claim you have a 137 IQ, and when I pointed out its near genius level, you say no its not. Um, yes it is, and I think we both know your not a genius.:D The best you can do if find a typo or a spelling error.

Regrading the Jack Johnson vs Jim Johnson fight, the Cyber Boxing Zone says it was 20 rounds, not ten. When Jack quit in ten it should go down as a TKO loss. It was not the last time Johnson would quit in the ring. Furthermore it is fact that the French wanted to strip Johnson of his title for this fiasco. You know it, and I know it.

    Carry on Bozo...

dont u think its hard to jude him by the poor quality of film available? and dont u think he became a bit lazy after winning the title so maybe he wasnt at his best in his filmed fights?

I think you have to add correction for time here because the era's are so different. What if Wladamir was homeless, hungry, starved, no supplements/steroids etc. Wladdy would be allot weaker and probably only weigh 190-200, probably not reach the same height as height and childhood nutrition are interlinked. What if he fought in an era where the jab wasnt used? Fought in an era where combination punching was rare? Fought in an era where he had to go 20-30rounds? He wouldn't be as refinned as a boxer.

What if Jack Johnson got fed well from a young age, modern supplements/PEDs, modern nutrition, weights etc. He'd probably weigh a solid ripped 230lbs. What if he was trained by a Steward or Dundee?

Boxing/Sport has moved on and Wlad probably wins this based on styles over 12, over 20-30 he probably doesn't make it to the finnish though. However a modern day Jack Johnson with all of Wladdy's advantages probably pulls off a UD over 12.

Under today's rules? Primitive Johnson gets annihilated.
