Sorry but that guy interviewing Mayweather is totally disrespectful and rude. It's like some half witted Floyd hater from the general forum is asking the questions.
I disagree, he was doing his job very well. Floyd was dancing around the Pacquaio issue and Kenny was winding him up and getting Floyd engaged. You compare Kenny's interview with Floyd and the interviews Floyd did with Sky when he was over here a couple of weeks ago. The Kenny interview delivers by a mile. I loved the way he winded Floyd up and then when Floyd took the bait and chewed his balls off, Kenny smiled at him like he was the cat that got the cream (i.e. the interview he craved for). The bottom line is not a popularity contest amongst broadcasters, it is who actually gets the best interview out of the boxers/promoters etc, that's all that I'm interested in.
Exactly. That interview was great. Brian Kenny is able to deliver interviews like that because he knows his **** and isn't afraid to wade through the smoke and mirrors and get to the bottom of the matter. Most of the British boxing equivalents (Buncemeister included) would rather just be friends with everyone. To be honest, many of them wouldn't have the facts/knowledge to be anything but pals with their subject.
I'm a big floyd fan but that was a fantastic interview. Generic answers are too common in boxing, I like hearing a fighter fight his corner. Antagonising the interview style may be but i'm pretty sure we got to know the real Floyd Mayweather more then 10 minutes of arse kissery would have managed.
lol at bunce saying all those tickets were sold due to the severed head t-shirt. looks like it's either chagaev on the 20th or haye three weeks from then.
How the **** can a bad back be healed and ready to fight in just 3 weeks? He is not going to be able to train during back treatment surely
I've done my back in a few times where I felt like I was gonna be out for weeks but it has felt fine within a couple of days - back injuries can be strange - they are terribly debilitating even when it is only very minor so correct care and treatment can result in very rapid recovery if it is not a serious injury.
