Vitali was in training at the time. As far as im aware Povetkin isn't.

Vitali also didn't have a guarenteed shot at Lewis before the end of the year. Povetkin has with Wlad.

Wlad won't get the credit he would deserve for beating him on 3 weeks notice.

    Need i go on?

Vladimir Khrunov, Povetkin's meneger says Povetkin is training and in very good shape.

Povetkin is very young, so he should be able to fight any day, any time (he has 3 WEEKS)

    Povetkin is Wlad's mandatory!!!

    Need I go on?

I'm sure he would coz I'm Super Lightweight / Junior Welterweight, as you can see he has a couple of lbs on me.

Neither of them knocked Wlad out cold. Purrity and Brewster won because of their inhumane ability to absorb punishment. Not exactly a gameplan for Haye to follow. If Haye takes the powershots Purrity and Brewster took from Wlad, he is toast.

Sanders was a 6'4 southpaw with excellent footspeed, a good heavyweight chin a a fighter who keeps up his hands. He beat version of Wlad very different from the current one. Haye has little in common with Sanders, different style, different physical attributes.

Ok so he's training, thanks for the info. He's not training for Klitchko is he though? 3 weeks isn't enough time to put together a gameplan to fight the heavyweight champion of the world. If your claim to being a fighter is true then i would expect you to understand that.

As you say he is his mando which i know, which is exactly why he should wait and fight him towards the end of the year when he will have a proper training camp behind him and he will be fully prepared.

I'm trying to get Chef to clarify the situation with Povetkin. He said Povetkin turned down the offer. The press in Russia says their taking until the end of the day to make their decision

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Not with that glass jaw, he won't. Haye can't even take the punches of super middleweights and old cruiserweights too well. Top level HWs will annihilate him - which is probably why he pulled out.
