If Shane agrees to fight PAc at a catch weight, I hope Manny kicks his ass...

It is a disgrace to see a 38 year old man have to come down in weight, but if he agrees to fight Manny at a catch weight, it's his own fault. Shane is going through a divorce, and hopefully that isn't the reason he is taking this fight at a catch weight. I could be wrong and I probably am in saying that. Another catch weight fight for Pac against an old man. When will the lunacy stop:-(.

Arum couldn't have felt better about the possibility of this fight happening lol.

You will not see the same Shane who fought AM. You will see a very slow Shane get stopped because his body won't be able to handle the weight loss like Dlh. Right now Shane thinks he can handle it lol. Come fight night, father time won't be fooled. Father time is 12 billion-2 against young fighters. Moore and Hop are the main two who have defied the odds lol...

If this fight goes down, mark my words this is the thought process. Pac beats ole Shane, and thinks that he is the draw and deserves more than Floyd. They ask for 60-40 Pac's way, and if Floyd doesn't take it, they either retire or fight another inferior fighter and talk us to death about how PAc is so great-beating old men with names. Floyd decides to fight Cotto, and Arum says no negotiations. This uncovered plot by me is the thinking of the scum of the earth promoter Arum.

For what its worth, I hope Manny kicks his ass and shows Shane as he did Dlh that money ain't everything.

I think you and others are overstating the effect the weight loss will have on Shane. He's a gym rat. He will handle moving down 3 pounds or so better than DLH handled dropping "7", and I believe Shane will rehydrate back to around 160 come fight night.

We shall see, I just hope the fight happens.

I don't see this fight happening. It seems as though Arum wants Pac to fight Cotto and Pac wants to fight Mayweather. Shane just seems really desparate at the moment. He would definately have to come down to 143 or 142, and would probably have to take less than 40% as well.

The same people who say PAc will lose to Shane are the same people who didn't think Pac would beat Dlh.

Mosley deserves to get his ass kicked here for the same reasons De La Hoya deserved to get his ass kicked against Pacquiao. All Shane is doing here is trying to beat up on a smaller opponent and earn a big payday in the process. I know it's not likely to happen, but if this fight does come off I hope Mosley does get his face smashed in. :!:

Exactly, Shane is about as desperate as a person hanging out of a window of a burning building asking to be rescued.

hmm says... the more I think about it, I don't think this fight will happen.. I don't care if I'm proven wrong since it'll be great anyways if the fight happens. It's just Shane is up there in age and his body is really really lean.. He said in an article he's walking around at 160 so I dunno how he'll pull off 143-144 with those two factors in mind.

The funny thing is that I think Manny can beat Shane without a catch weight.

nope it wont, de la hoya came from 154 to 145, 9lb less than his usual weight, mosley always weighs in 146.5 losing 2lb wont matter.
