If Shane agrees to fight PAc at a catch weight, I hope Manny kicks his ass...

That's exactly what will happen. He won't be drained. He'll cut an extra three pounds and go right back to his usual fight night weight. People are letting the ODLH fight cloud their judgment. Shane is working out in Big Bear right now actually. He doesn't let himself get out of shape.

You are right about Floyd saying that about Shane...that was wrong, but Floyd wants a fight with Pac first. He is cornering Pac, and Pac's camp feels cornered. Pac wants the fight with Floyd, and his people don't think he can win deep down. Manny thinks he can win, and win by ko. I give Manny close to a 50-50 chance to beat Floyd, and you know how I rep Floyd.

If he rehydrates to 160 he may kill Pac. I think the impact of the drain is being underestimated though. Shane is willing to come down to 143 - he has not been that low in about 10 years. There will defintely be an impact.

Against a fighter like PAc, fans will see the impact it has on Shane. Good post.

You make it sound like Pacquiao is somehow forced to be in those divisions.

Pacquiao made the decision to go there and stay there so fighting those guys should be expected.

Scar, many critics want to keep fans in the mentality that everything PAc does is phenomenal all because of his aggressive style that they love so much lol. Good post.

This has been the case always anyway, aggressive fighters always get the most support, not much for skills/defense/movement. That's why the majority don't know much about what goes in the amateurs.
