WBC orders Ward vs Dirrell

The fight wont happen, which is a shame!!!

I think Dirrel will go on to be the better fighter, but Ward's fight with Miranda may have given him the experience to just edge this at the moment!!!

 

This fight is a couple years away. I'd be surprised if it comes off now.

 

Dirrell wins in a damn close fight.

 

I've been waiting for this fight and now these two will finally separate themselves. I actually like Ward in this fight.

 

I'm surprised as well and thought it wouldn't happen until down the road but i'm happy it might happen soon.

 

Would be awesome though I have my doubts it will happen till I see it signed.
I'd go with Ward.

If it happens, I lean towards Dirrell taking a close one. The longer they wait for it to happen, the better Dirrell's chances become - Ward is the more polished guy right now, but Dirrell has a lot more talent and continues to build on it.

Anyway, I doubt it happens as well. Just not enough money in it quite yet, especially considering this could be a huge fight a few years from now.

 

Is this a title eliminator or is someone getting stripped and they will be fighting for a vacant title. I imagine Ward will win a very tough bout.

 

This fight has almost no chance of happening right now....I have been saying for some time now that it seems that the non-Amreican posters here are wetting themselves to have Dirrell and Ward fight each other RIGHT NOW.. Truth is Dirrell is likely to pick up the WBO belt, Taylor is actaully ranked number one by the WBC, Froch isnt due a mandatory for a year, so why would they order a fight between 2-3 when they have a number one?

Yeah, most have been...Most of the Bute, Froch, Kessler fans...They have been calling for the two to fight each other for awhile already. its in the threads:good
