I aree with that. DLH only really had to lose 7 pounds of fat. Because that is all hehad to do ,to get to 154 ; and that is get soft around the mid section

He'll probably have to come down to 143 but I wish it were 144. If Paquios managers and promoters get their way it'll be 142 or less. If Shane could make 140 he could win another title at that weight but I think he wants to defeat the best fighter at this era. I think at 143.5 or higher he has a 50-50 chance. At 147 or higher I'd pick him to win.

Before Pac fought dlh EVERYBODY thought Pac was going to get hurt.

Just because DLH was (made looking) shot like sh*t doesn't mean Shane will look the same. DLH came down from 154, Shane's already fighting at 147.

I wish I could believe differently. When you are fighting a man who is faster than you, losing weight only causes more problems for the older fighter.

Good post. I only disagree with you that Pac is the best of his era.

i think the weight will hurt Shane, but not nearly as much as DLH. That said i still think it will be competitive.

he is very desperate. He just needs to wait before he get his ass knocked out cold. The fight aint happening now but at the same time shane will drop in weight if the fights made, He will get his turn against mayweather at a fair weight when Floyd beats pacman. and it will be even but if he rushes this and go in at pacman he will surely be at a disadvantage i am sure he can win but he can get destroyed as well and this all depends on how his body handles weight loss

The **** are you taling about?! What I'm saying is that fighters such as De La Hoya and Mosley are taking advantage of a brave little man and are trying to bank off of beating the living **** out of the much smaller Pacquiao. When you look at it from Pacquiao's point of view it's commendable, but from the view of Mosley it's simply shameful.

How is it a disgrace? Shane is a man who makes his own choices. He doesn't balloon up in weight between fights and he easily makes 147 at this ripe age. The fight is on even ground. Kingpin of the WW's is Shane and Kingpin of the Jr WW is Manny. Why not meet in the middle?

Plus its SHANE who is looking to take on PAC for his P4P title...not the other way around. I mean I could understand if you were upset of "SOMETHING" but you are upset over nothing.

And if you really want to pull staws, which I hate doing......Shane is the OLDEST fighter PAC has faced. MAB, EM, DLH, HATTON, JMM were all between 30 & 35 years of age when they faught yet you state PAC is fighting "anther" Old man.

Well.......I guess its the norm from people who just don't like Manny. He can't do enough and there are always excuses to why he wins or is winning in a dominant fashion.

Even if PAC faught Cotto and dominated or Floyd and won you along with many other would find anther "excuse" to throw at PAC to why he won. It's just old and a tired ass agruement to say the very least.
