If Shane agrees to fight PAc at a catch weight, I hope Manny kicks his ass...

Not true.....I was very vocal about PAC loosing to DLH but I know PAC can beat Shane and I think that is a strong possibility. Will it happen? No one is 100%. All we can do is go by track record and PAC has been extremely consistant and predictable when considering who will have their arm raised at the end of the fight.

LOL......Actually I think DLH honeslty felt that way, but I think Shane respects PAC. But it is funny how seemingly EVERYONE is trying to spin this as PAC trying to gain an advantage when he's the smaller man! Any other fighter they'd be saying it was DLH, Hatton or Shane picking on the smaller man. Double standards!

If this is true then way try to discredit PAC by saying he is trying to cause Shane to loose outside of the ring and not in it? 4 or 5 pounds wont make a difference in shane's game at all....he'll just be less powerful and more the same size as PAC yet he'd still enjoy a size and strength advantage.

Floyd most likely would be Shane, but that doesn't mean that is how the fight would actually play out. Shane has major power and if Chop could land on Floyd and buzz him pretty good so can Shane. The likelihood of that happening is just not that great b/c...lets face it, Floyd has some great "D". But anything can happen in the ring.

I said Pac would beat ODLH, but I favor Mosley to beat Pac.

Hatton didn't meet Collazo or Floyd in the middle. Neither did Duran when he fought Leonard, nd neither did about 5000 other fighters. As far as what you say about the fighters ages between 30 and 35, that is a disgrace to even mention what you said lol, no disrespct. You take it as if I don't like Manny, and that is a lie. I want to see him do something special. Pac beating Cotto or Floyd would be big if he doesn't fight them at a catch weight. How can people say Pac beat Hatton and Dlh better than Floyd did, and then say Pac should fight Floyd, Shane or Cotto at a catch weight?

See, we are at opposite ends of the spectrum. shane losing 4 or 5 lbs will make a difference in the fight.

Any fighter can be hurt in the ring. Check this out lol. This is how I see PAc fans dissing Floyd when he fights Marquez. They will use the "if Marquez landed this on Floyd, then Pac can do this to Floyd" mentality. Boxing doesn't go like that. Great champions get better with each fight. Same with what you said about "if Corley could buzz Floyd than Shane can" also. I see your point, but I don't look at boxing that way. I've been in the game too long, and watched too many fights to have that "if" mentality. Anything is possible in the ring when it comes to great fighters clashing.

Right.....Hatton moved up! Its all about perspective. Floyd was the man at 147. Hatton was set to make a move to face Floyd who was the P4P king at the time and he had a close fight with Luis. PAC faught Hatton at 140 b/c that is where Hatton was king and PAC knew he was not a legit WW.

Catch weight fights are not very old......I'm not sure when the first "catch weight" fight was but they are more common these days. Back in the day they didn't have many different weight classes either. The sport evolves and the athletes go with the evolution.

You may like PAC. Its hard not to like him with what he does in the ring. It's VERY easy to say that PAC beat Oscar and Hatton b/c he did. In a more exciting and more dominating fashion. Was it the same Oscar and Hatton that Floyd faced.. NO! Every fight is different. But no one can say that either version was better or worse, if they choose to do so its all just speculation.

Rick faught Floyd at 147.......through 10 rounds of a pretty physical fight. Floyd wasn't in any trouble but he said that was his hardest fight ever. And Rick wasn't at his BEST weight. He moved up to 147 to fight the MAN....at HIS wieght. Meaning Rick put himself at a disadvantage to fight Floyd for his title.

That is what Cotto, Floyd, JMM and Shane are "exploring" with PAC right now. They want to fight the BEST PAC, to challenge for his title. PAC is being nice by doing the catch weight. He is the kingpin at 140! Not 147. He could say if you want me then meet me at Jr WW but PAC wants to make the BEST fights.

When PAC went up to face Rick for his title PAC went to Ricks weight class. He beat the man in his own division who was at his best fighting weight. But Rick was the one who wanted to fight PAC for his P4P title. Fighters make sacrafices all the time and the great ones perform accordingly.

Or if PAC moves up to 147 it could put PAC at an even greater disadvantage who is already the smaller, less powerful man between the two. The thing about this situation is PAC is on top right now and its Shane who is looking to take his P4P title. If PAC wanted to be a compelte dick and show he really didn't want the fight he would say come to Jr WW. Fact is PAC is bending over backwards.....just not as much as everyone has gotten use to with him, b/c now PAC is the one with the wild card in hand.
