this would be awesome. would be like the old days when a fighter was a champion it meant something. don't get me wrong, i think what gbp is doing is great, but they're cashing in first and foremost just like everyone is trying to. the hell with the abc's, they're too many belts and have harmed the sport only so they could cash in

 

The belts are meaningless nowadays anyway. The sport is propped up by fan opinion of a fighters worth. Mayweather and Pacquiao could meet for the P4P best in the sport and neither could have a strap.

 

The Republicans have been doing this since Carl Rove has had an influence... Accuse your enemies of what you're guilty of, and then when they accuse you of being the one who is actually doing it, act like they're hypocrites. It often works amazingly well actually.

 

Whenever there's a boxing argument I usually take the position opposite to Sulaiman's - it's served me well so far.

 

The ABC's have noone to blame but themselves for this type of situation.

The terrible fights that they've tried to force feed the fans over the past few years, the 'Champions Emeritus' and 'Interim Champions', terrible mandatories and often seemingly corrupt judging have led us to this point.
