did anthony mudine have any amature fights?

Most agree he had a handful of amateur bouts.... No more then 10

 

I read he had 3 or 4 when he was 16.

 

Wiki says 4 at age 17.

 

I did read a bio on him a few years ago where he said he had 4 fights in Fiji when he travelled across with his Dad and boxers from his gym.

 

Yeah he 4 fights i think 2 were exo's he had GORDON TALLIS in his corner for one of them, ANTHONY'S been in the gym all his life so he's not reilly a late starter i do remember DANIEL ROSWELL knocking ANTHONY out with a body shot years ago before he got serious.

No suprise there..he was a big bloke and from memory that right hand to the body was one of his more lethal shots.

 

i heard an interview the other day.

Choc said his fight with Ottke was his 11th ever fight and that he had no amatuer career ...although before hearing this i was under the impression he had had a couple of fights at least when he was late teens

 

He's had 4 amateur fights as a teen.

 

guess hes not totally wrong.

cant really call 4 random fights a career...

 

still, growing up around a gym and having your old man as a pro boxer means he didn't come in cold like hoppa etc.

 

lol true. but thats why it shows with hoppa

 

i think he had 4 fights in New Caledonia. however, i am not sure what length and when it happened. it wasn't a career.
