Toney was prescribed treatment for his knee or something leading into the Ruiz fight.

Guys, what if the problem is that Haye is so full of juice RIGHT NOW that they realized they couldn't hide it before June 20 so they came up with this whole trauma thing to say they needed steriods for treatment?

If you have a disc or spnial injury, you are essentially ****ed for life unless you get stem cell injections. This is not yet accepted treatment, hopefully it will be soon.

If you have a lumbar strain, you arent out for a year or premanently. This is not a serious injury. hayes trainer said he needed 3 more weeks and phsyiotherapy. This is the prescribed treatment for a muscle strain. Not a serious injury by any standard.

Now thats' a conspiracy theory there! Haye sure looks the part, but I have never heard of any controversy around haye and steroid use.

Man it makes perfect sense! :patsch

Everyone noticed how big Haye looked in the promo video. Now we all know how you get big muscles in short time, right?

I understand you are never really 100% but why go into a fight, by far your bigest fight of your career when you aren't even going to be close to 100%.

Haye needs every edge he can get, having a bad back pretty much ****s him.

Let me guess, you are an ameteur, I admire your toughness but this is the real deal and it could literally mean 10's of milliions of dollars down the road if for some reason he actually wins.

He may have the same ailment that curtailed Vitali's career for awhile.
I don't think they know if it's a muscle strain or a slightly ruptured disc
I'll bet he has a mild disc injury and will eventually have surgery on it before he takes on the likes of Wlad or any major heavyweight.:bart
He's probably been pushing himself way too much, being the warrior he is...
Tomorrow, the tests will tell all.

It's impossible to prove how much discomfort Haye is in.

In my opinion if it's a serious enough injury to knock his final training preparations off for a week or more, then it's a serious enough injury to stop the fight.

I honestly don't think Haye is faking or exaggerating this injury at all. You can't expect a man to go into a boxing ring, especially at the most powerful and devestating weight, anything less than 100% prepared and fully fit. Throw in the matter of potential £££'s if he wins, and it is quite understandable why he'd choose not to fight.

true but i think that is due to haye not wanting to fight in a week day. 3 weeks is a solid amount of time. he has alreayd made preporations he just makes anotehr fight in a month

I just read the article and it said that the treatment was indicated by a 'scan'. I think those are the types of injuries that would show up in a scan, not spasm or strain. So, yeah. This sounds fishy.

I just dont see how this adds up. david haye needs 3 more weeks to heal from a basic back sprain and is willing to possibly give up his chance to become HW champion after he has campaigned so hard?

This type of Inujury will n ot preclude him from fighting june 20th. So either his injury is worse thana sprain and we are gttting bad information or haye is beign duped by his team. Lastly I guess there is the option he doesnt want to fight.

Yeah, this is all very confusing.

Supposedly he needs intense physical therapy.... and yet he'll be ready to fight in 3 weeks? How is that possible? Even if this injury only took 3 weeks to completely heal, wouldn't he need additional few weeks to get back into shape for the fight?
