15 rounds is dangerous for the health of the athletes man. 12 rounds is enough and one belt per division would be the best thing that could happen...

Shutup shitbag... the whole point to fights ending in KO is the fact that you know at one point there will be a climactic finish to the fight... and because the fight is kill or be killed, the action would likely be a lot more brutal and entertaining.

With a regular limited 15 rounder you don't know whether you'll be getting 3 extra rounds of Barrera - Morales, or 3 more rounds of Johnny Ruiz.

Honnestly, i think boxing is enough macho like it is. I think that you don't need to make 15 rounds and risk your health or life to prove your a man. When you're boxing in a 12 rds world championship fight it already proves your a ****ing man imo...

That fight in your avater could have did with 3 more rds for a couple of reasons....
    1. No-one had shown any superiority over 12, hence the SD win for Morales.
    2. It was possibly the greatest fight ever & another 3 rds would be just fine for me to view.

    :thumbsup

Yea i agree but it doesn't worth the many lives 12 rounders probably saved as many researches proved the last three rounds were very damaging....

Im a big boxing fan and theres a lot of pros and cons to this debate but i have to go with the 12 rounders for the reason i mentioned above.

I'd love to have one belt per division and a mandatory challeger. This way, boxers move up by rankings and gets the title fights when they deserve them.

I actually heard that wasnt true, there was no evidence that most damage was done in rds 13-15, it was more to do with fitting the fights into TV schedules or some ****.
    That sadly doesnt suprise me.

The beginning of the end that I can see was around '83 when the IBF started and Larry Holmes became their champion. After that **** went downhill.
