Ruiz is the inventor of the jab and grab. Wlad has stolen his style and Ruiz is out for payback. You can't get much better drama then that. Wlad vs Ruiz is the stuff of epic poetry.
What's the difference between ass hammered and ass ****ed? Both mean the same **** in a trash talk context.
if i were to say i kicked your ass....i wouldnt not be talking about repeatedly kicking you in the rear with my foot..... ive never heard anyone use the word "ass hammered" in reference to getting beat up he got his ass kicked he got his ass hammered ok, im done with this discussion:hi:
Ruiz has spent a whole CAREER robbing his opponents of their opportunity to win WITHIN the rules, and the FANS of their right to see the legitimate boxing matches they PAID for. And his connections with King allowed him to get away with it. John Ruiz = Exhibit A of boxing corruption. A glorified clubfighter who didn't merit a SINGLE title shot, let alone the MANY undeserved shots he's had.
Because they are some of the more knowledgeable fans in boxing. They know a talentless cheater when they see one.:yep
If Wladimir can't get Chagaev then I'd say he should go for Ruiz. It's a 2 time HW beltholder with big wins on his resume, Wladimir should be able to stop Ruiz.
Would John take the fight? Yes he would, he does have heart and deterimination, in my opinion he's beaten Valuev twice (not saying thats really an accomplish it since Holyfield beat Valuev too except on paper) and seems like he'd fight anyone. But it doesnt change the fact taht he's not that good, he's old, adn been in way too many title fights. John Ruiz is no beter of a fight IMO than Hasim Rahman (except John has a much better chin). He'd get destroyed the same. Wlad-Ruiz would be horrible for boxing.
You would know best about clubfighting promoting junkyard fights in your backyard. Like it or not he was a champion and one that is willing to fight everyone.
Someone mentioned Holy as a possible opponent, would never happen. I read/heard something with Wlad a long time ago where he said he and his brother see Holyfield as an idol and so past it it wouldn't be worth it.
I sort of like the idea of Ruiz in there. He would get knocked out again. We've been waiting for that for a long time.
Holyfield would get seriously hurt. Ruiz is owned by Don King 100% and King also owns 50% of Valouev.
