It all comes down to Pacquiao's greater footspeed, IMO. His ability to pop in and out, not allowing his opponents to get set, is one of his greatest attributes. Especially against a guy like Shane, who, being a power-boxer, will likely play the center of the ring looking for Pacquiao to make the exchanges. Therein lies the trouble for Pac. Is he strong enough and durable enough to deal with Shane in the exchanges?

This is all provided the weight isn't that big an issue for Shane, which, at this stage, is wishful thinking, IMO.

You may be correct. But They said the same thing about Hatton and DLH as well. Further back they said the exact same thing with EM, MAB and JMM.

I think this fight will be highly competitive but feel the winner of the fight will have the advantage in speed, stamina and ring generalship. Which is why I think PAC has this one. But if someone is going to beat PAC it will have to be Shane, Floyd or PW.

I really would not put Pac against healthy Shane... Shane wont be ko'ed in 2 rounds like hatton and at some point pac would stay and trade then it is scary moments for pac... i think bad match up for pac.. shane is really, really bad dude..

What kind of crack are smoking? Lemme have some! :yep Seriously? You must be really high.

I mean when Pacquiao beat the **** out of MAB, MAB in his prime he just beat the **** out of Hamed. Pacquiao was a huge underdog 1-4 in MAB's favor. Pacquiao was suppossed to be a tune up fight. :deal STOP DOING DRUGS! It's bad for you!! :yep

    Read the news first.

Manny Pacquiao has dismissed Shane Mosley's talk about an impending deal for an October fight as a ploy, saying he has many possible next foes and no impending deal with the American.

Pacquiao responded after Mosley claimed the Filipino superstar's willingness to fight him - if the details were right - was an acceptance of a challenge to meet him in the ring.
"I am not blaming people for coming up with ideas to lure me to fight them," Pacquiao said. "Of course everyone wants to fight me.
"We will make the announcement at a proper time and a proper place after all the fight details have been discussed."

I think you are dreaming. Manny although he beat Hatton his speed was anything but impressive. His foot work was labored like when Pavlik got beat by B-Hop. Manny will get hurt!

The only thing that I agree with you on is that Manny can't ko Shane. According to you Manny has to run to win and I dont think he can do it at more than 140 lbs. If Manny tries this I expect Shane to work the body and KO manny. Unless Manny can convince Shane to fight at 135 expect Manny to be get hurt real bad.
