I don't think he should take the fight if he hasn't been training and is out of shape. If he loses, then he will be written off and no one will remember that he took the fight on short notice. He's young and he will get his shot when he can prepare properly for it and be at his best, that way win, lose, or draw, there will be no regrets or excuses.

i've had it for ages and no one has ever asked:lol:

    midway through the eubank-benn rematch.

eubank lunges in and falls foreward where benn gracefully moves out the way....so as he is falling eubank bends his leg and whacks the back of niges head. :good

Eubank has a tremendous spinning wheel kick.

    or the mercer fight.

but if you want a really competitive fight you should check out cooper's fight with mike molito. they were neck n neck the entire fight.

Fat Tits, or his management, figures he'll eventually get a shot because of the buzz and HBO push.

Cooper didn't have that luxury, he had already largely been written off in boxing because of his drug problems.

As Merchant said afterwards, Cooper would get rewarded with bigger fights in the future because of his admirable effort against Holy.

Arreola will most likely get his ass kicked against Wlad, but I'd at least like to see him in semi-decent shape when he fights him. Arreola is most likely resembling Jabba the Hut right now.

true dat, but u gotta give Arreola props 4 playing it smart! Would Floyd Jr. or PAC fight on 3 weeks notice? Would Wlad himself fight on 3 weeks notice? Let's b real, but I respect ur notes. It's a chance of a lifetime, but I'd rather b prepared 4 it. There's money and there's glory and money. I respect the NIGHTMARE's shrewd descision.

yeah well it will all be moot if arreola has 8 weeks to train and still come in at 246 pounds....or better yet loses in his next fight... or if he does come in shape (which i doubt) and wlad kos him in 2 like austin....

nah man, i dont give him props....i think top fighters should be in shape all the time for this very reason....its not like he sat around for 2 years and has 3 weeks notice...he fought less than 2 months ago....but knowing him, he hasnt got off the couch since 5 mins after knocking mccline out :yep
