Im going with Dimetrinko but I have to admit I don';t know as much as I should about either fighter. Would like your opinions.

I like Chambers more than Dimitrenko, but Dimi clearly is the better fighter and surely will win. He is a poor mans Klitschko and still not in his prime.

He has fought quite good guys (besides Povetkin the best of all contenders) and I think 3-4 fights and his prime begins. At least he has the tools to be top notch...

Dimitrenko looks a bit chinny. Chambers is not a power puncher but he throws quick and very sharp punches. Chambers can cause problems for a guy like that. Then again, Eddie's lack of activity is a real problem for him. i need to watch more of Dimitrenko to get a better feel though. Interesting matchup for sure though.

Dimitrenko by decision or KO, or TKO, whatever, he will beat Chambers.

How is Dimintrenko better than Chambers, when Chambers is more proven?

Do you think Chambers is much more proven?

    Chambers had good wins over:

    Brock (good win)
Peter (who was in the worst form of his life)

and a loss against Povetkin (his best opponent)

    Dimitrenko had good wins over:

    Krasniqi (great bodyshot)
Hoffman (the only fighter ever to go full 12 rounds with Vitali Klitschko)

    and no loss

They share some mediocre to bad opponents they both beat.

I give Dimi the edge in the fight because of his physis. He punches harder than Chambers and is fitter.

But Chambers is more skilled and has fought the better competition, so I guess that evens it out. I don't think size disadvantage will be that much of an issue for Chambers.

good test for Chambers after Povetkin. Dmitrenko also needs to improve himself against americans, and top-10 boxers. Great fight!

It will be a strong test for Chambers to deal with that size 3 minutes per round. I never thought he was a guy with terrific conditioning and Dimetrenko is in shape, as Universum fighters always seem to be. That's one helluva activity level to keep that offense going and defense tight when you have to close that big of a gap to land anything.

A risky bout for both and the loser takes a pretty sizable step backwards for about 2 years. Although I think it goes to the cards, a KO loss by either guy would pretty much turn the loser into another one of those heavyweight rebuilding jobs and that's a real tough road to travel.

Dimitrenko's style is totally wrong for Chambers.

Dimitrenko is bigger, has a good jab,a telling punch, and will fight on his home turf.

I very much hope that I am wrong but Dimitrenko will probably win a wide point decision in a fight which is a pain to watch and better than any sleeping pill!

Chambers is to short, with not enough upper body movement nor power, once he gets in.
