You do all realise Haye wouldn't get paid a penny if he faced Wladdy?

Haye's sole pay from the Wlad fight is coming from British Broadcasters Setanta. Setanta have defaulted on several payments to other sports they show and are widely expected to declare themselves bankrupt soon. When they bankrupt themselves all debts are null and void including Mr Haye's pay for the Wlad fight. So if Haye did fight Wlad he wasn't earning a single penny for doing so

Haye just wants to make some money to feed his family and Waldo is being a ***** and a coward for wanting to face someone else despite the fact that the robot is goonna get paid like 20 million.

Think about the fact that, IF Haye would win against Wladimir HE is the champ and can dictate the prices and make the big money. One fight for less money and after that the big pot of gold.

...but if Haye was just in for gettin paied for being beaten up then powerpunchers statement does make sense. :hey

Except for the fact the Klitschko's have his contract for 2-3 fights after that and that probably includes skimming all the none British rights, so is Haye supposed to get nothing for his next 3 fights? 3 fights against Klitschkos for free?

 

considering he's already been paying people for the last few months to train him? it's not like they're all working for that purse, the rest of the team gets paid regularly.

If he is so sure that he will win against Wlad then why not make ONE fight without much win and after that make millions of pounds.

Or let´s put it another way:

If you were given the chance to work for 500$ per month for half a year with the guarantee that, if you do the job well, you will get paid 15.000$ per month afterwards, would you do it?

because anything can happen in a prizefight... haye could be winning and lose from a waldo lucky punch, either of them could get permanently injured, etc.

bad analogy. you're assuming that the job that you proposed was a run-of-the-mill job, not a prizefight. put yourself in haye's place. are you seriously going to face wlad for nothing?
