You do all realise Haye wouldn't get paid a penny if he faced Wladdy?

1.) haye called the fight off cause he wasn't getting paid...

If this is true this is K2's fault by proxy, they tied him into this LUDICROUS contract that he is pretty much forced to except because your boys are the champions, unless he went and fought Valuev the circus side show act.

2.) haye offers to reschedule it in 3 weeks... wlad doesn't want to fight

How could this be anything but Wlad's fault, if these things can't go down then why does Haye still want to re-schedule? Saying "they might not be able to reschedule" is bollox, look it up and tell us who can't do it, your team already said the stadium is free. Setanta are dead, and with Mayweather/Marquez likely to be pulled the yank PPV scene will be bare and crying out for the fight in June. So that just leaves the German tv as far as I'm aware (there are probably more).

3.) haye gets screwed by setanta...

Again K2 held Haye to this ridiculous contract and so by Setanta going under, your crap contract has forced Haye to leave the fight.

Of course, this could all be hearsay and David might well just be injured but to say Wlad is blameless if it is because of setanta is a complete lie, whether you work for him or not I know you can see that even if you're not allowed to admit it.

For ticket sales, the should just let everyone with a ticket come 3 weeks later. those who can't make it can get a refund.

TV is no problem and stadium should be no problem. Dawson/Tarver was postponed for a month and HBO showed it A-OK.

so Haye lied when he said he was injured? he backed out because he wasnt getting paid and now its Wlads fault

    WOW:nut:nut:nut

Wlad has nothing to do with santanta...Haye also had the chance to get the ticket sales...he declined and refused to secure Chealsea stadium...Haye signed the deal..to blame Wlad for Haye backing out in any way is a joke

it's not waldo's fault that Haye backed out. It's Waldo's fault because he's scared to fight Haye 3 weeks later.

It's Waldo's fault that he made Haye get stuck in a 3 fight contract for essentially slave wages in the first place. If he had given Haye a cut other than from Setanta, we wouldn't be in this predicament in the first place.

The TV and sponsorship deals could be a viable issue but K2's own man said themselves on Bunce's Boxing Hour yesterday that the stadium would be free, and you only have to look at the WWE, they re-scheduled to a different city in less then a week and offered pretty much the same deal to a completely different stadium.

TV however could be an issue if other things have been scheduled but I highly doubt, especially with JMM vs PBF likely to be cancelled due to lack of interest that America won't be salivating over the fight, Setanta are a null issue as they will show it whenever/where ever and that just leaves German TV/Sponsors and other smaller TV contracts to compromise over.

However I just hope this Haye situation is just as he says it is, an injury. Because if it is then Setanta won't come back in to ruin this deal (with them going bust) and Haye will fight, however if Haye's issue is with Setanta you can kiss this fight good bye (why he would lie about it I don't know, would make much more sense to say due to this ridiculous contract Haye would end up getting nothing if Setanta go under which they most likely will) and whether Chef likes it or not K2 is partly responsible for that.

Haye may have lied and faked an injury, but he only did so to avoid the possible backlash of people in boxing who would have attacked him for backing out without a good reason.

So Haye lied, but it's Waldo's fault that he doesn't want to fight 3 weeks later.

its an injury. Thats is what team Haye is saying and thats what we should believe at this point. To say Haye backed out and lied about it due to Santanta or the fight contract is a joke...put blame where blame is due. Unlucky things happen all the time....maybe, just maybe thats what happened?:huh

I would just like to state mate, that I am not saying the Haye contract situation is TRUE but IF it is true which is viable seeing as Setanta are in trouble then I could see why he would back out of the fight. To me it would make more sense to just come out and say that though, however he may be legally forced to honor his contract or be liable himself, hence if he pulls out the fight due to injury and waits for Setanta to go bust he can secure rights with another company. To not see that, in a word is; stupid.

Not trying to bad mouth Haye, but its well known that UK broadcaster Setanta are paying his share of the purse. And the rumours are that Setanta have defaulted on various debts, and may well go out of buisness, with their last broadcast being Saturday's England game.

Haye isn't going to fight for free, a three week delay is enough time to sell the fight to another UK network.
