Anderson is probably too busy eating buns:yep He lost his speed, skill and desire in one fell swoop, it wasnt Kevin McItyre who finished his career, it was himself. As for Morrisson, who knows, maybe he just doesnt fancy the fight cause Ajose is a tricky guy
It must be annoying for Ajose to go over old ground if he is facing Wright again, but I still fancy him to win a wide points decision. He had to produce a workmanlike display in the second stage of the fight, but should be able to outbox him on this occasion.
I wouldn't go that far, but he would have too much for the likes of Morrison and Wright. No-one like a rematch when there is no reason for one.
I know most knowledagable fans wouldn't go that far and that was aimed at his manager who said that Mayweather vs Ajose was a "Pick 'em" fight.
he is the manager... he believs in his guy! what so bloody unreal about that. We all know PBF is the greatest out there, but im too long in the tooth to belive he cant be beat! now evre heard of the unexpected or the upset happening in boxing. or the boxer that come sin form nowhere to stake his claim. Well we all know it happens..... aint saying its Ajose... but not acriligious to say so especially from his bloody manager!
Ajose and his manager have spent the last 4/5 years telling everyone that he is ready for Ricky Hatton, Junior Witter and now that he would give Floyd Mayweather a run for his money... And what have they done in the mean time to force these fights? What has Ajose achieved to make these fights happen? Does he, or his manager, really think that Nigerian Light-welterweight title or ABU equivilant force the issue? Or 3 commonwealth title fights? Why hasn't he been taken over to the US like Andy Lee or Craig McEwan were, for example, to learn his trade? The only thing they have achieved in the 4/5 years he has been calling out everyone at the top of the 140lb division is to make most people who read his manager's posts on here laugh and for my girlfriend's dad and I (presumably everyone else watching as well) **** ourselves laughing when he is interviewed by Sky... One thing thing that he must be credited for is his promoter's ability to get him to such a significant WBC rating based on nearly nothing. I've said it before and I'll say it again that Frank Maloney deserves nothing but praise for that. Though I do think he is a good promoter anyway...
You are obviously delusional and plainly dumb! It is notoriously difficult for Africn fighters to get into postions to get the politics of boxing right in terms of title shots. I am sure they have n=made mistakes, but treading the well worn route of commonwealth and exposure in Britain is one stream African boxers of yeatyear trod a lot. Perhaps they have found that this is slightly outdated. How can you blame that on the boxer who ahs profeseed a willigness to fight all the top boys on the domestic scene. we know Witter has turned him down at least twice and the likes of Lynnes and the name of the other african boy who went on to briefly hold european belt (his name fails me) also pulled out of fights very very late. The guy then showed balls to take on the likes of Pryce and Nubemebe (bigger men) in catch weight contests! I feel the taking on of british citizenship and pursuing the british belt is actually a smart move, as it might endear him futher to uk audience. Well apart from you and your xenophobic family, who i am trying to figure out why they laughed at his interview.... oh i get it African with (wait for it) an african accent.... :happy yeh that is soooooooooooooooo funny! We've actually moved on from that thank god in most of this country... well apart from the inbred areas you still populate!atsch
Now, Now. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. The bottom line is Olusgen's manager has been shooting his mouth off for years but has nothing to show for it.
Lee I must say some of your comments in this post disgrace you and I am dissappointed. I really am. I had a higher opinion of you until I read some this comments which border on xenophobia and hint at other things I would rather not mention. I would be personally grateful if you can in your next post take back the poisonous comments. I accept that some mistakes may have been made in handling Ajose's career but knowledgeable people know the poli-tricks involved in boxing whilst the general public only see the end product during the contest.
Er, lets get a few things correct... I am of Irish desent and my in-laws are all from Ireland. My sister in-law's husband is from Zimbabwe and is African NOT of European descent... We laugh at him because he is delusional... But you go ahead and play the race card, twat... ***EDIT*** Sorry for those who misread my post and were genuinley offended... I am NO racist and anyone who thinks I am should check out my posts on the Nick Griffin/Amir Khan thread. My Avaitator also speaks volumes...
Being Irish does not excuse the comments you have made in this context about you and your father-in-law laughing at Ajose's post fight interviews and digs at the Nigerian and ABU title. The fact that we are also fighting for the British title despite unknown to you and many several people questioning the merits of us fighting for the British title. We are fighting for the British is because of the honour and respect we feel is due to Great Britain, its people and the fact that we came here to commence our fighters professional career. Whether we should have gone to America or not the fact is that we are here and we want to honour Britain by fighting and winning its title to show what we are about. Like I said we can disagree on boxing points, fighters, fights etc but please take care how sensitive things are put. In acknowledge and appreciate your comments on the Nick Griffin/Amir Khan thread.
First of all thank you for taking the time to read my posts on the Griffin/Khan thread and for acknowledging them. Sometimes it is very easy to forget that as wonderful as message boards are things can be mis-understood and though my comments were meant one way they could obviously be taken another... I was explaining our Irish roots to show that we too are immigrants to this country (or desended from). I wasn't having digs at the Nigerian or African which, though not held in the same estem around the world as the British or European, are honerable titles. I was merely pointing out that they should not be used to justify any claim that Ajose should be fighting the best. I will not, however, apologise about laughing at him in his interviews. They are very entertaining but he DOES come across as very deluded.
I appreciate the 1st paragraph of your last post and some of the 2nd paragraph. Where I take issue with the 2nd paragraph is that while the British title means a lot obviously to us here in Britain and the European means a lot on the European continent similarly the Nigeria and African titles mean a heck of a lot in that country and that continent. Remember Nigeria has a population of 140 Million people and is about 4 and a half times the size of the UK including Northern Ireland. Ajose wants to fight the best because we and he believe that he is the best simple. We have targetted every title we are eligible for. We were actually hoping to get a combined Commonwealth, European and British title fight with McCloskey however that did not quite come off. I don't know why you and your father-in-law are laughing at post fight interviews of valiant warrior but I will leave that you. For the record I accept that no racism or xenophobia was intended so lets leave those issues aside and get back to debating this great sport that we all love. Thank you.
