HBO will only approve Wlad/Haye for July 11, not interested in Chagaev as replacement

    HBO are ****ing idiots....sure Wlad vs Chagaev ain't a better fight but still it's a good fight.

    hbo sucks dick. i don't care if i dont get to see it live. wlad should make the chagaev fight. ring title and perhaps the wba strap...too much to pass up. i'll watch it on the stream. showtime would probably pick it up or espn classic maybe

    greenberg can go sit on it.

    yeah, remember the last time wlad fought an undefeated southpaw in a unfication fight? my boyfriend took me to see it and i didn't know boxing could be so boring!!!

    I would imagine Showtime, ESPN, ESPN Classic or even Versus could pick it up either live or on tape delay that night.

    My only thought is that HBO got some sort of feedback about the Haye-Wlad hype.

    Sounds like they want to salvage that fight.

    so not only do the ABCs derail unification, the networks are trying to get in the act now.

    why doesn't HBO send their own doctor to britain to verify that Haye will be ready to go July 11 cause i wouldn't trust Adam Booth as far as i could throw him.
