Whether I have a high horse or not is a moot point. As I've already explained, I wasn't saying it should have happened or anything of the sort. However, my point was and is still correct: they WOULD have more money fighting each other than against Diaz and Clottey. And I'm glad they didn't, as I prefer real fights to money fights. Yes, there are interdivisional fights that are necessary and brilliant. However, Cotto-Marquez wouldn't be one of them. Neither IMO was Oscar-Pac, and neither is Mayweather-Marquez. Hence my comment. I yawn when I find things pedantic and tiresome. It's a natural bodily reaction. It won't happen, but it was fine as an example of an interdivisional fight that could have made money that I am glad didn't as two better fights happened instead.
