That's great news. This fight means much more than a fight with David "Sore back" Haye.

good to hear. yeah I would rather see Wald fight Haye but its hard to make a guy wait like 6 months then Haye backs out. Wald wants to whoop some ass so hes gonna fight Chagev and get the ring belt.

you were upset by the news that wlad will be fighting chagaev. you didnt want it to happen. you made the other thread about wlad fighting chagaev to bring into question whether that person should be ring mag champ. see? people are usually biased and dont even know it. if you were really neutral the question about the legitimacy of #1 fighting #3 for ring championship (something that has happened before - also 3 major belts get unified - another way to create an undisputed champ) wouldnt have even entered your mind.

It's a huge middle finger to Haye which I find funny.

    (Not a fan of either)

THis fight will still be huge.

Chagaev is well known in Germany, and he is a legit titleholder who has yet to be beaten. Let's not discredit him merely cause some would rather see Haye in there.

I, for one, have new respect for Chagaev. I thought he'd duck this fight, but he proved me wrong.

Oh, and my gut tells me that Wlad knows something more about Haye's 'injury' than the public does. Because Wlad would give the man a few more weeks to recover.

No YOU are creating bias in your head because you disagree with what I have to say. Simple as that. I don't really care one way or the other about any of the parties here (Haye, Klitschko, Chagaev). What you are ignoring is that BY THE RING'S POLICY there have to be "special circumstances" to use a fight between 1-3 to crown a new champ. All I am saying is that I don't see what about the fact that the clear 1 and 2 not fighting each other is a "speacial circumstance" that warrants the fight between 1-3 to be for the title, especially when the gap between 2 and 3 is HUGE.

Also, I said **** this fight because this has Klitschko-Ibragimov 2 written all over it.

    So, in conclusion.

    Go **** yourself.

Recent Chagaev statement on the Wlad fight:

“For sure this is a very interesting idea.” Ruslan Chagaev, who is still in training, stated “I’m ready to fight. I had the best preparation of my life. I’m confident to fight everybody. My promotor is working for me. I trust him.”

So much for those saying he's too sick to fight. The hepatitis is not affecting him, at all, as he's had it for some time. He's READY!
