I cant beleive Toney is being suggested , the shell of the once great fighter got OUTBOXED BY SAMUEL PETER. I put that in capitals because you should think what that actually means. And Ruiz ??? puuleeeze he may as well sign up for a round robin with Williams , Skelton and Sprott it would be as good for his career as a fight with that useless ***** !

Its time to leave that generation of fighters behind , go after Areolla , Chambers , Peter , Johnson or someone like that , Povetkin even, if he could get the big shite bag out of his bed !

Arreola is the best fight for him at this pt. Both are looking for a big fight. they are talented yet unproven hws and the winner becomes a legit title contender. good style clash. great fight for both. make it a wbc eliminator for vitali.

other solid matchups could be Peter, Thompson, Gomez, Povetkin

I can't see Haye risking a (near) future fight with Wlad by taking on somebody remotely dangerous. I'd expect someone of a similar level to Tomasz Bonin.

Toney would be interesting cause at the very least it's a decent name on the resume (yeah, we all know he's well past his best, over weight etc, but its still a name).

Best for the fighters and best for the sport would be Haye vs Arreola. I'd love to see that fight.

I think Haye could take out a LOT of guys with relative ease, so I think he should spend the next year VERY active and fighting as much as possible: settle into his weight more, train on the sly for big men (Klits and Valuev) and get used to being the small man. Taking on the likes of Dimitrenko and stuff would be great experience for him.

Even with all his balls, strength etc, does he REALLY want to jump in with a 6'6/6'8 guy whos dominating the division? Saying that, he probably does!

well it's gonna be a very long wait then. wlad is looking at chagaev and povetkin the year. then, likely the wbo mandatory in Chambers/Alex Dim.

haye has to fight a legit hw in the meantime to establish himself as a force in the division. u can't go around fighting old gatekeepers and bums in the meantime. this injury debacle is gonna stop a lot of his momentum .

I take your point but Haye got this fight through fighting exactly the kind of heavyweights you mention. I'd think on a personal level Wlad would get plenty of 'job satisfaction' in trying to settle things with Haye sooner rather than later. But I guess it just depends on the IBF and WBO's say so.

he has to fight a respectable name, preferably in the states. fighting chambers, fat sam or kevin johnson would be a good pr exercise and put him back in the frame to fight wlad or vitali.

this injury might have only potentially delayed haye by three weeks, but in reality its undone everything. he won't be able to talk himself into another title shot so quickly and has to prove he deserves a shot at wlad, as soon enough those achievements at cruiserweight wil be a distant memory.

If Wlad fights Chagev I reckon the fight is gone forever, assuming Haye retires when he's 30.

I would like to see Haye fight Peter or Johnson. Anyone but Arreola as although I think Haye is better, you just never know.

Well if he's still set on fighting Wlad sooner or later he may as well fight somebody that is going to prepare him. What is he going to get out of fighting James Toney?

    Dimitrenko would be awesome.
