yeah I think you have to take into account that floyd is not a normal person. No matter what, your not gonna get a straightforward interview off the guy. His ego is massive, and from the looks of things he doesn't like being put on the spot. I mean word for word, how would you of wanted the interviewer to put the questions to floyd? I don't think they were antagonising questions at all. He could easily of answered the questions without the big uproar etc... Floyd was basically being an arrogant ***** from the get go and the interviewer challenged him a bit. I have no problem with boxers being arrogant, but what I cant take is when they cant take the heat thats inevitably gonna come their way for it. Great Interview, tells you a lot about Floyd Mayweather Junior as a person.
Bunce is lucky Haye wasn't in the studio when he was making those crass comments about Goody, i'm sure they are friends from way back.
Buncey did a good job asking all the right questions and more on the show this week. I was impressed even though it felt like the comments he was doing about Goody seemed like they belonged in a pub rather than a weekly Boxing show.... but what can you do?
make it clear that they are bad taste and inappropriate that's what ofcom is for i guess, im not annoyed enough to complain about it but i imagine complaints will be made. it was awful taste - don't know when mocking a cancer victim who deteriorated in such a short space of time will ever be funny.
I like Steve Bunce but his comments about Jade are scandalous. If anyone has lost a family member or friend to cancer they will know how hurtfull and low his comments are. Not even slightly funny. :fire
I've lost a family member to cancer and normally I would be outraged but seeing as Jade went out with as little class or dignity as possible she's fair game for criticism in my opinion.
who is to judge what dying with class and dignity is?? when she stepped out her house she had papparazzi chasing her - she's used to having ever ounce of her family's privacy invaded...having cameras at the end was a way of getting money for her children doing something she's used to - living her life at the end of a camera. just because you think you are better than someone else, or because someone annoys you, making fun of her tragic situation is totally heartless and insensitive -- i mean she DIED FFS, and only months ago, how can anyone smirk about that? Andy showed a lot of character by keeping out of the jesting.
I guess the equally crass Haye must take death pretty lightly, otherwise he wouldn't have produced images of the Klitschkos with their heads severed - not in a sport where death, alas, can be a sad reality.
I don't think people are making fun of her personal situation-rather than the hypocrisy and manipulative sentimentality in the media. I just feel that enjoyment of Goody cancer jokes are a personal way to deal with the trajectory of the tabloid coverage, which labelled Goody as a thick,no-talent pig, then a racist bully and finally......a saint.
