this is really sad, a phenom, one of the greatest athletes ever who was so risk averse in his prime is now going on far to long and risking his health. why the **** didn't he just fight the people he should've fought in his prime who he probabily would've beaten with ease and instead now he's shot he wants to fight anyone

Roy likes to keep his name out there by any means possible.

He had ZERO intention of fighting Wlad.

Remember when he said he wanted to fight Lewis or Tyson - but then asked for $100 million.

He's done this **** all through his career. He said he was going to fight Buster Douglas, he said he was going to fight Corrie Sanders. The only heavies he's ever been willing to fight are Ruiz and maybe Oldiefield.

 

RJJ at his absolute prime would get run the **** over and annihilated by Wladimir, that would be an absolute joke of fight. Wladimir literally has the power to kill him in the ring and end his life with a single right hand or left hook.

 

Roy Jones wouldn't even fight Chris Byrd for unification after he beat Ruiz. For anyone to beleive that Jones honesty really was offering his services for June 20 shows astronomical levels of naivete.

 

I remember I had a dream long ago this fight happened and still can't forget it, boy was it a nightmare. Roy was doing nice early, moving and stuff then BAM Klitschko catches him cold and RJJ dies or something after it.

Don't EVER think about making this one happen.
