embarrassing for boxing

i've said in other post, if wlad beats down ruslan, which i think he will it will cause more hatred to wlad, and more fan support for haye....does he care or want that?

 

It's been a joke since Lewis retired. But the smaller divisions are so good, I don't miss it too much, even though it would be better for boxing if there were some exciting fights in the division.

 

Wlad and Vitali have nothing more to prove, they have been good champs, make the exciting fights happen.

 

I agree 100%. Wlad will never hear the end of this now. The Chagaev fight is an interesting bout but peple were talking about Wlad V Haye, not Wlad V ...? Unfortunately, this situation sums up what the heavyweight division has become: a monopoly ran by two brothers- they decide who to fight and on their terms. I do really respect Wlad as a person but as a fighter he is all safety.

 

Yeah, what kind of division is this when the #1 takes on the guy who has been #2 or #3 for several years on a 3 weeks notice? atsch

You have a panicky, chinless man heading the division who fights like a scared 8 year old girl half the ime. What do you expect out of this division with someone like that at the top?

 

dunno if its embarrassing but its obvious that a proper feared heavyweight champ is

just vital for the sport. for the occasional casual fan its needed as a figurehead. usually the

first person think about.


at least this fight means there will be a legitimate linear champ created, vitali and

valuev unify then see what happens

 

By all means then go and try your luck as you seem to think you can do a lot better, seeing as its obviously **** easy to win and hold the heavyweight belt now, with such a poor champ

 

in the end Wlad just used Haye and threw him away
just like Haye wanted to use Klitchkos with all those t-shirts

Where the **** did I say it was either hard or easy to control the division, numbnuts? All I said is that Wlad himself is a horrendously flawed fighter... and with a champ like that in such a talentless division you can expect there to be huge letdowns and a lot of backlash from the fans... and now obviously the networks have caught up to these facts because HBO has just rejected broadcasting the Chagaev fight.

Can you imagine?! A huge network has just turned down a highly significant heavyweight title fight. How shameful and embarrasing for Wlad and the entire division as a whole. :-(

 

Who in the world should Wlad fight?

Haye will not be ready in 1or 2 month!
We don't know anything about hayes injury
